After finding George sitting in the Square with Ivy, clearly avoiding going home, Gina told her dad she was worried about him. George shut down, not wanting to talk about Eddie, leaving Gina more worried than ever. Later, she confided in Penny. They decided that she should call the police and report Eddie after Nigel’s funeral.
