As Ravi tried to make sense of what had happened, Max found himself caught up in newcomer Bea Pollard’s drama – turning up late to a meeting with his children. They’d invited him to plan a memorial for their late sister Abi, and were left annoyed at his no-show.

Can Max talk his way out of trouble?

Elsewhere, Jasmine let down Lily after spending time with Patrick, while Gina spotted fireworks between Vinny and Gina.

Here’s everything else that happened on EastEnders tonight.

Max let down his family

It was coming up to the anniversary of Abi’s death, and Oscar was keen to arrange a memorial for his sister. This would mean bringing Max on board too, to Lauren’s chagrin.

Max, meanwhile, was distracted by his impending ‘date’ with Bea. She’d gotten herself all worked up, convincing herself that it was a big date.

He arrived at Container Junction, where Bea was all dressed up and excited to meet with her suave new man. As he fretted and fussed, he broke the news that it wasn’t a date, and never had been.

After leaving her high and dry there, he made his way to The Vic, where Lauren was furious at him for turning up late.

Jasmine made an enemy of Lily

After their disastrous meeting earlier, Patrick attempted to extend another olive branch to Jasmine. Bad timing on his part, as she’d been tasked with looking after baby Charli for Lily.

After putting Charli to sleep, she headed downstairs to meet with Patrick at the bar… unaware that the baby monitor wasn’t working.

Lily wasn’t exactly thrilled to come home and find Charli soaking wet and screaming, while Jasmine downed rum in the bar with Patrick and Oscar.
