While Max and Cindy plotted their revenge, Kat started to realise Jean might have been right about Jasmine after all.

Elsewhere, Elaine and Ian’s battle of the businesses stepped up a gear and George made a deal with the devil.

Here’s everything else that happened in EastEnders tonight…

Kat quizzed Jean

Knowing that something didn’t add up about Jasmine’s claims that Max tried it on with her, Kat started to wonder if there might be some truth to Jean’s claims.

She called Jean to find out why she was so convinced that Jasmine killed Anthony. Soon, everything Jean was saying started to make sense.

Jean admitted she would do things differently if she could go backin time, and play the long game with Jasmine. Kat was given food for thought, deciding to keep a close eye on her granddaughter. Could she be the one to work out who really killed Anthony on Christmas Day?

Elaine gets her revenge

Elaine and Ian’s petty feud continued when Ian realised Elaine’s garish sign for Peacock Palace wasn’t going anywhere. Little did he know, Elaine had struck up a mutually beneficial deal with Councillor Barker.

When Ian decided to help Harvey with his marketing for the laundrette and cab office, he put his face all over the flyers. The temptation was too much for Elaine, and she stole the lot, defaced the flyers, and posted them around the market.

George played wth fire

George was disappointed when his offer for Walford East was turned down because he was £10k short. Nicola offered to loan him the money he needed to get the restaurant, but with Billy’s words of warning ringing in his ears, George turned her down.

However, some advice from Sam made him realise he would be mad to lose out on his dream business venture, and he asked Nicola if the offer still stood. Is he going to regret going into business with a Mitchell?
