As Nigel launched his search for the truth, the ramifications from the accident could still be felt at the hospital. And, as Oscar questioned the whereabouts of Jasmine’s mother again, another clue as to her true motives emerged.

What’s Jasmine’s game?

Elsewhere, Kat was at her breaking point with Zoe’s behaviour, after witnessing her lie to her Private Investigator. Meanwhile, Teddy set off in search of Harry as Kojo returned home to the flat.

And Johnny and Tim sealed the deal, in spite of a warning from Callum.

What’s Jasmine hiding?

Still suspicious over the absence of Jasmine’s mum, Oscar was doing some snooping around a recently-arrived fruit basket. Jasmine insisted that her mum lived abroad, and then sent Oscar packing too. With Oscar gone, Jasmine opened a card from her mysterious well-wisher.

“Rest up and get well soon,” it read. “We need you on top form.”

Kat’s through with lying Zoe

Aware that she’d stolen money from The Vic, Kat remained suspicious of Zoe. Having made contact with her Private Investigator, Zoe made her excuses, and headed out for the day.

Following her to a park, Zoe got Kat to admit that she’d stolen from the pub. Zoe’s It was then that Zoe’s Private Investigator arrived.

Kat grew suspicious at Zoe’s reaction to the Private Investigator’s questions. Catching her daughter in a lie, Kat realised that she was still not being honest – but with whom?

Back home, Kat was confused as to why Zoe was hiding things from her PI. She confided in Alfie, telling him that she was worried about the influence Zoe was setting for Tommy. Listening in, Zoe overheard as Kat told him she’d have to buck up her ideas – or leave.

Kojo returned home as Teddy packed his bags

His bags pack, Teddy told Billy that he was headed to Cardiff in search of his son. Meanwhile, at the flat, Harry was in a bad way.

Okie informed him that he’d sent Kojo a text message, and that he was on his way home. Harry was horrified as Kojo returned – but not as horrified as Kojo, who found Harry in a state.

With Harry still chained up, Okie tried to justify the situation to Kojo, telling him that he’d locked druggie Harry away for his own good. Kojo knows his friend better than that though, and when he started to panic, Okie tried to feed him drugs too.

Kojo made a show of taking the pill but, once Okie was gone, spat it straight back out again.

Callum doesn’t trust Tim

Callum was doing his research on Tim, and stalking him on social media. Learning that Tim was gay had Callum feeling jealous, and he warned Johnny that his old friend’s interest might go far beyond professional.

At The Albert, Johnny confided in Elaine, who advised him that there was no harm in a little flirting. Tim arrived for their meeting and, in spite of Johnny having second thoughts, the pair sealed the deal on their new partnership.

But does Callum have cause for concern?
