Also, Phil avoided going to see Nigel for the fourth day running, and Oscar got the sack from both Elaine and Ian! Ravi went to see the doctor Priya made Ravi a doctor’s appointment, but once there, he was so detached from what was going on around him that he struggled to answer questions about his mental health. Priya was horrified when the GP said she would refer Ravi to the mental health team, but it would take eight weeks to get an appointment. The doctor prescribed Ravi medication for his anxiety… and Ravi reassured Priya that he was on the mend. But little did she know, he was hiding the true depth of his anguish. Phil continued to shut Nigel out Having used Lexi being out of school as an excuse not to see Nigel all week, Phil continued to avoid him today. Julie noticed that he hadn’t been to the care home, and admitted it wasn’t her favourite place either, but that Nigel needed to see familiar faces. The pair fell out, and when Julie suggested they go to see Nigel together at the weekend, Phil shut her down. Oscar got sacked – twice! After his hilarious smear campaign against Ian became the talk of Albert Square, Oscar had a brainstorming meeting with Elaine. However, Ian caught the pair talking and sacked Oscar on the spot. But, when Oscar told Ian he wasn’t really going to give away his campaign secrets to Elaine, she also promptly fired him.
