As a terrified Jasmine returns to Walford, her connection to the Ford family is finally revealed next week

She's back!

Jasmine Fisher returned to Walford in EastEnders tonight (Thursday, December 11), surprising Oscar at his 18th birthday party. Jasmine left Walford after her attack on Cindy, and amid speculation that she’s a member of the Ford clan.

Since then, Oscar’s been trying to move on – no easy feat, given how clearly smitten the lad is. But what brings Jasmine back to Walford? And are rumours of her crime family connection as true as Cindy fears?

Here’s what happened in EastEnders tonight – and what happens next.

Jasmine returned as Oscar celebrated his birthday in EastEnders tonight

Oscar arrived at The Albert for his surprise 18th birthday party, as arranged by Lauren. The birthday boy seemed to be in fine spirits, but it was clear that something was playing on his mind.

Or someone – Jasmine. He tried to move on by flirting with another partygoer, but his heart just wasn’t in it, and Oscar sent the lad packing after sharing a kiss on the street.

But like the proverbial bad penny, it didn’t take Jasmine long to show her face again, quite literally running into him as he enjoyed a quiet moment alone.

“You’ve got to help me!” a panicked-looking Jasmine begged.

What trouble has Jasmine gotten herself into this time?

The Ford connection revealed in EastEnders next week

Cindy and the Beales are shocked when Jasmine returns to the family household in EastEnders next week, as they plan for Jimmy’s christening. Seeing Jasmine again, a terrified Cindy flees.

Meanwhile, Ian calls the police. As officers question her, Jasmine finally reveals whether or not she’s connected to the Ford clan.

The drama continues afterwards as Oscar, frustrated by Jasmine’s continued evasiveness, ends things between them. Again.

However, Jasmine’s at Oscar’s side when he rushes into a house fire to save Zoe Slater, joining him and the family at the hospital in the aftermath.

Can Oscar and Jasmine work things out?

What else happened in EastEnders tonight?

As Jasmine returned to EastEnders, another character made their exit... Teddy, who learned that he was being transferred to Durham. With Harry in hospital recovering from his overdose, Teddy bade farewell to brother Billy, issuing a warning for George before he left.

Meanwhile, Sam and Phil came to an understanding, while the feud between Ian and Elaine continued.

Here's everything else that happened in EastEnders tonight.

Harry recovered from his overdose

Jack arrived on the scene as Gina panicked over Harry's unresponsive body. She called her dad, who alerted Nicola. Grabbing a needle from inside the house, she arrived on the scene - injecting him with a life-saving serum the doctors had given her after his last overdose.

At the hospital, Harry regained consciousness to find his mum standing vigil once more. Harry taken care of, Nicola lay down for a scan to check all was well with the baby.

And well it was. After hearing that the baby would be fine, Nicola informed George that she plans on keeping the baby.

As for George, he wasn't against the idea - and promised to stand by her, and the baby.

Walford's next power couple?

Teddy issued a warning

Teddy learned that he was being transferred to Durham. Back in Walford, as a miserable Billy bemoaned the loss of the brother he hardly knew (us neither), Barney arrived to inform him of Harry's overdose.

As Honey rushed Barney to the hospital, Billy received a phone call from Teddy's lawyer. He arrived at Teddy's holding cell, where Teddy made him promise to look after Billy and Harry.

It hadn't gotten off to a good start though, and Billy was forced to share news of Teddy's overdose. Teddy was blindsided by news of George and Nicola's baby.

As the police carted Teddy off to Durham, he bid a fond farewell to his brother. But not before begging Billy to warn George about Nicola.

"She'll ruin him. You only know her when it's too late. Don't let her ruin anyone else's life. Let this end with me."

Sam and Phil made up

Confronted by Phil, Julie and Ricky, Sam tried to claim that Nigel had transferred her the money out of the goodness of his heart. As an upset Nigel fled, Ricky gave chase.

With Ricky and Nigel out of the way, Julie delivered a haymaker punch, flooring Sam. Back home, as Sam nursed her wounds, she tried to make amends with Phil.

He wasn't having any of it though, and kicked her back out of the house. With Sam gone, Julie called the bank, and managed to get the money transferred back into Nigel's account.

Still, good-hearted Nigel couldn't help but sympathise with outcast Sam, recognising her fear and sense of isolation. Given food for thought, Phil tacked Sam down, and extended an olive branch, informing her that she needn't face her mother's fate alone.

Back home, Phil sorted Sam with an appointment at the hospital.

Elaine vs Ian

In The Vic, Elaine pressed Tim to pull some strings with the council over planning permissions for Peacock Palace. Afterwards, she tracked Ian down to The Albert, where he smugly revealed that he'd been investigating her planning permissions... or lack thereof.

Thankfully, Tim had already gotten to work, leaving Ian frustrated once more. Elaine may have cleared things with the council, but there was one person who she hadn't got permissions from - her daughter, Linda.
