As Max sleeps with Priya, viewers predict Cindy won't care that he cheated - here's why
Fans are convinced Cindy is plotting something...
Today’s EastEnders saw Max left red-faced when Cindy turned down his very public proposal. While he tried to laugh it off as a joke, it was clear that Max’s ego had been bruised.
Things only got worse when Cindy later discovered he had found the ring that he’d proposed with, and that getting down on one knee was a spur-of-the-moment decision.
Instead of trying to make things up to Cindy, Max did his usual thing of making the whole thing about him. He went to the car lot and left Cindy a voicenote to apologise… before wallowing in his own self-pity.
Priya set her sights on Max in EastEnders
It was only when Priya arrived that his evening took a turn. Priya had spent the evening also trying to forget the day’s drama, determined to move on from Ravi and find a new man.
But when Zack turned Priya down, she went looking elsewhere, and soon set her sights on Max. After convincing him to take her back to his flat for a nightcap, Priya turned on the charm. And it didn’t take Max long to forget that he had been proposing to someone else only hours earlier.
As Max and Priya spend the night together, fans are convinced that Priya is the pregnant woman in Max’s bed in the flash-forward episode. While the dates work out, this does mean we could have another ‘who’s the daddy’ storyline on the cards, as Priya slept with both Max and Ravi on the same day.
This could all, of course, be a red herring for the flash-forward episode. Either way, fans are convinced that Cindy won’t be too bothered about Max’s cheating today, because they believe she has an agenda of her own.
EastEnders fans think Cindy is plotting something
Some viewers are convinced that Cindy could be leading Max on, making him believe she is fully committed to their relationship, while secretly tricking him.
As fans know, Max is the one responsible for the death of Cindy’s son, Steven. And while the pair have talked about what happened in the past, it appears they have cleared the air.
But some fans think Cindy is plotting revenge…
“Cindy can be twisted. I’m seriously considering that this relationship could be a massive plot for revenge on Max for Steven,” said one fan on X.
Someone else added: “I’m convinced that Cindy isn’t the flashforward bride now. I think she’ll see through her revenge on Max like she wanted to do initially.”
While a third fan admitted: “I am convinced Cindy is playing Max. Surely she doesn’t love him and is only plotting revenge for Steven’s death?”
