The pair fell out, and Callum was left heartbroken when Lexi pointed out that he isn’t actually her dad. But what is wrong with Lexi, and why won’t she go to school? Lexi has been struggling since Nigel went into the home in EastEnders (Credit: BBC) What is wrong with Lexi in EastEnders? Understandably, Lexi is struggling at the moment. She has been through more than most youngsters her age have. Not only has she lost her mum, Lola, to a brain tumour, but her dad is in prison, Jay has moved away, and Callum has just divorced Ben and got together with Johnny. But now Nigel, who Lexi had formed a close bond with, is losing his battle with dementia, and it is taking its toll. Callum has been struggling to get Lexi to go to school, and today’s episode saw them fall out as she refused to go in for her classes for another day. Honey reached out to Callum (Credit: BBC) Honey staged an intervention Honey and Billy could see that Callum was struggling, and Honey decided a Mitchell intervention was needed. She gathered Julie and Sam and suggested they all go over to Callum’s for dinner, where they could all support Lexi together. Julie offered to talk to her about the importance of school, and although Callum said she had enough on her plate with Nigel being so unwell, she was adamant that she wanted to help.Don't miss a single story! Honey suggested that Billy could speak to him, but Sam said that she would have a word. Knowing that Phil is the only one who can get through to Lexi, Sam makes it her mission to get him over to Callum’s for dinner. But will her plan work? Callum struggled to get Lexi to open up (Credit: BBC) The drama continues for Lexi in EastEnders tomorrow Tomorrow sees the Mitchells gather at Callum and Lexi’s house, where they all have dinner together and gently ask why she has been so reluctant to go to school. Understandably, the problem stems from the fact that poor Nigel doesn’t have long left, and Lexi’s trauma over losing her mum is coming back to haunt her. But is there another reason she doesn’t want to go to school? And will Phil manage to get her to open up and talk about what is bothering her? What else happened in EastEnders tonight? As well as Lexi struggling as Nigel's health deteriorated, Ravi confessed his darkest secret to Nugget. Elsewhere, Ian and Elaine called a truce, and Mark got closer to Lauren. Ravi made a shocking confession After locking everyone in their flat and taking away their phones, Ravi terrified his family with his erratic behaviour. Realising their dad wasn't well, Nugget and Avani started to worry. However, things only got worse when Nugget spotted the bruises on Priya's arms caused by Ravi. Priya tried to explain that Ravi didn't mean to hurt her, but Nugget saw red. An argument started... leading to Ravi admitting he was the one who attacked Nugget and left him for dead. Ian stood up for Elaine Ian and Elaine went to a council gala, where Ian worked the room with ease. However, Elaine felt like a fish out of water and clashed with one of the other council members. Elaine was surprised when Ian stood up for her, and they decided to call a truce and put their weeks of fighting behind them. Mark helped Laurem, but does he have an ulterior motive? Lauren was surprised when Mark offered to help her get her money back from the old car she had been mis-sold. The car dealer arrived at the gym, and Lauren was stunned when Mark introduced himself as Lauren's boyfriend. Mark told the dealer that he needed to give the money back or he would come for his family. Despite not being a fan of Mark's dirty tactics, Lauren was pleased that Mark had managed to get her a replacement car for free, and they celebrated in the pub.
