What happened in EastEnders tonight: Sharon and Zoe team up to find Dennis’ child but fans think they’re already in Walford

Tonight in EastEnders (September 24) Zoe Slater and Sharon Watts have put their rift behind them to find Zoe’s child – but fans think they don’t have to look far..

Sharon was left reeling this week after Zoe’s baby bombshell, in which she claimed the identity of her baby daddy is Dennis Rickman.

However, despite initially thinking that Zoe was not telling the truth, Sharon changed her tune and agreed to help the troubled Slater find her long-lost child…

EastEnders’ Zoe Slater bombshell rocks Walford

During the latest episode of EastEnders, in shock after Zoe’s confession, Sharon was fuming to hear her beloved Dennis had cheated on her two decades ago.

Zoe then recalled how all those years ago, Dennis came to see her before she left Walford – something Kat also remembered. The pair then had sex, resulting in Zoe getting pregnant with their child.

Not believing her, Sharon and Vicki stormed off. Vicki then tried to reassure Sharon that Zoe is lying – but Sharon wasn’t convinced.

Sharon makes big decision in EastEnders

Meanwhile, at the Vic, Zoe insisted to Kat that she was telling the truth. She also hinted that now Sharon knows the truth, she might give her money to find her child.

Overcome with emotion, Sharon later had a heart-to-heart with Ian Beale and Kathy. Talking about her own childhood, Sharon said she was “lucky” to have had her adoptive mum Angie look after her.

However, now convinced that Zoe is telling the truth, Sharon noted: “But what about this boy? This man now? What’s happened to him?”

Kathy said: “If it’s true, then a man you loved has a son out there and if it was me, I couldn’t just accept that without trying to look for him. God help if Zoe gets to him first and screws his life up any more.”

Kath’s words struck a chord with Sharon as later on, she showed up at the Slater house to see Zoe. She told her: “I’m going to help you find him.”

EastEnders fans think Jasmine is Zoe’s child

However, according to a fan theory, Sharon and Zoe don’t have to look far as viewers think that Zoe’s child is already in Walford.

Predicting that Dennis isn’t actually Zoe’s baby father, viewers reckon Zoe’s son transitioned into a female and has now turned up as Jasmine on our screens.

“Jasmine arrives in tonight’s episode and she’s 19 so she’s either Zoe’s daughter or she’s transitioned from her son,” said one person on X.

Another agreed: “Hear me out. I wonder if Jasmine is Zoe’s child. But she doesn’t believe it as her daughter died. And yes she did, but her son transitioned so technically she now has two daughters. The show did say they would be doing a story never done before!”
