But as the episode ended with Josh and Oscar getting caught by Kat, fans are convinced there is more to Josh than meets the eye… Jasmine slapped Oscar (Credit: BBC) Oscar juggled seeing both Josh and Jasmine in EastEnders Fans have watched Oscar fall for both Josh and Jasmine over the last few months, and today things finally came to a head. While Josh and Oscar might have initially slept together, not knowing they both had Jasmine in common, the pair have recently given in to their chemistry, knowing it would leave Jasmine broken-hearted if she found out. Oscar has admitted to Penny that he is in love with the twins, and while Josh knows he is battling his twin for Oscar’s affections, Jasmine has no idea that there is anything between her boyfriend and her brother. At one point, Josh and Oscar shared a heartfelt moment where they talked about their childhoods. Oscar opened up about losing his sister, Abi, while Josh revealed the reason Jasmine didn’t celebrate her birthday. He admitted that the day they were separated after their step-dad Keith’s death was their birthday, making it a hard milestone for them both. After finding out the truth about how Jasmine watched their dad die in a car accident, Oscar went to find Jasmine. He tried to get her to open up about her past in his clumsy way. This obviously isn’t the first time this has happened… but this time, they got caught. Kat was on her way over to see Josh and invite him to a birthday party when she caught a glimpse of the pair together through the window. Oops! EastEnders fans are torn between Jasmine and Josh While some fans are convinced that Josh is in the wrong for pursuing Oscar, knowing he’s dating Jasmine, others think Jasmine has done far worse. “I’m starting to believe Josh is actually the evil twin over Jasmine now,” said one fan on Reddit. While a second agreed: “Josh is going to be the evil twin without a doubt. I don’t buy the Mr Nice Guy act at all.” While someone on X added: “I’m enjoying seeing Jasmine blossom because she feels safe. This love triangle is horrible. Josh is just thoughtless.” However, others have warmed to Jasmine’s twin brother. “I don’t think Josh is evil. He’s just insincere. He didn’t return from his birthday celebrations because of what was happening with Jordan. He returned because Jasmine was getting to spend their birthday with Oscar and he was jealous,” said a viewer on Reddit. But when Oscar later tells Jasmine he isn’t coming to her party, she assumes it is because of the slap, oblivious to what is really going on. Kat confides in Alfie about what she saw. But they decide to keep it a secret so they don’t ruin Jasmine’s birthday. However, when Zoe, who is also in the dark about the kiss, convinces both Josh and Oscar to come to the party, their secret is under threat. How long will it stay under wraps?
