As Suki and Vinny rowed over Ash’s upcoming wedding, Avani had some news of her own… she’s pregnant! Meanwhile, Ravi was on the receiving end of police attention when Nicola shopped him for his drug activity. As for Priya? She was left fuming as Elaine withdrew her free cruise tickets. Elsewhere, Julie returned to Walford (again) with the news that Nigel had gone missing. He reappeared before too long, with a bold decision for his future. And, as Kat prepared to bid on The Vic, Stacey threw the whole endeavor into doubt after a panicked call from Alife. Here’s everything that happened on EastEnders tonight. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers Julie revealed that she’d lost Nigel (Credit: BBC) Nigel disappeared… and returned Ben Wadey’s train set got another outing as Nigel took a trip, alone, on a busy tube. Confused and scared, he clung on for dear life as the train propelled him toward his destination. Meanwhile, Phil was still stewing when Jay and Lexi arrived. Jay tried to distract Lexi by sending her off to get some sweets, but she overheard Phil’s talk of her moving in – in particular, his inference that Callum was bringing home ‘all sorts’ at night. Reluctantly, Jay relented to talk of a sleepover, and agreed to let Lexi stay over the night. Later, Phil was at The Arches when Julie arrived, in a tizz. It had only been a few days, but already she’d lost Nigel! Temporarily putting aside his vendetta, Phil called Callum and launched a search party. Julie had lost Nigel at Edinburgh station, and he’d apparently boarded a train while she was off having a wee. Thankfully, they didn’t have to look far – Callum arrived just as Nigel emerged from the tube station. Returning to Phil, Nigel revealed that he wanted to stay in Walford, for good. But where does this leave his poor wife? Nigel shared his plans for the future (Credit: BBC) Nigel’s back for good in EastEnders tonight The next day, Nigel explained his reasoning, telling Julie how he’d made a home in Walford, with Phil. Julie begged him to think of their marriage, but it seemed as though Phil had won this particular custody battle. At the café, she confided in a sympathetic Jay, sharing her worries that maybe Phil and Nigel were right, and she should go back to Scotland. Meanwhile, Phil talked to Yolande, who shared her sage advice on the situation, as Jay snapped at him for driving Julie away. Back home, Julie told Nigel her plan to return to Scotland alone. As they shared a goodbye hug, Phil returned. He’d finally decided to do the right thing, and told Julie that she was welcome to stay, if she wanted her own room. Later, finding Jay in Harry’s Barn, Phil reconciled with Jay, thanking him for making him see sense with Julie… and warning him that he and Callum were on their last warning. Disaster averted! Kat was fuming when Stacey withdrew her offer of a loan (Credit: BBC) Stacey let Kat down The Slaters were in fine spirits as the family discussed plans for the pub. Freddie tried to manage everyone’s expectations, but Kat and Stacey were convinced the pub was in the bag. Meanwhile, on the table, Stacey’s phone began to ring with a call from Alfie… Later, at Stacey’s Baps, Alfie tried ringing again. With Stacey on a change run, Jean answered. He was desperate to speak to Stacey, making up an excuse about buying her a ring. With the queue only growing longer, Jean ended the call, leaving Alfie sweating. Meanwhile, Kat had set up a meeting with the mortgage broker, but was feeling nervous due to everyone around her pooh-pooing the idea. As Ian pointed out that buying a pub probably wouldn’t have been top of Martin’s priorities, she stormed off and told Stacey that she was pulling out of the sale. A quick pep talk had Kat back on track. At the pub, they sat down for a chat with Linda about the finances. Meanwhile, Stacey finally called Alfie back. He’d tracked down Zoe, but needed €50,000 to pay off her debts and ensure her safety. The next day, with Kat celebrating a successful meeting with the mortgage broker, Stacey broke the news that she could no longer lend her the money. Kat was furious, and exploded, leaving Stacey facing the wrath of the Slaters (except Freddie, who continued to be the voice of reason). The Auction of The Vic got underway (Credit: BBC) The Queen Vic was sold in EastEnders tonight The auctioneer arrived at The Queen Vic, to a frosty reception from Linda. To be fair, describing it as a ‘tatty old place’ might not have been the best move. Meanwhile, Stacey admitted to Jean that she and Alfie were in cahoots, helping out a mystery figure from the family’s past. Jean immediately leapt to the conclusion that it was Hayley Slater. Playing along, Stacey pretended that Alfie had indeed been in touch with Hayley and Cherry, and that they needed the money because it was Hayley who was in trouble. Jean didn’t buy that Hayley (or Zoe!) was in trouble, immediately sniffing out that it was a scam. Wrong Slater, but right instincts. Back at the pub, Linda listened in to a property developer as she discussed her plans to bulldoze the place. As the Beales settled in for the auction, Big Mo kept watch on the Slaters’ behalf, taking potshots at Kathy and Ian once the bidding got underway. Having taken aboard Jean’s advice, Stacey rushed over to see Kat, telling her that the plan was back on. Desperately stalling for time, Jean set off a fire alarm. It was too late – the property developer had put in the winning bid – but Linda couldn’t see the pub demolished. Then and there on the street, Linda made a deal, agreeing to sell The Vic to Kat for… well, they neglected to share how much. As Stacey informed Alfie that the money was gone, Elaine and Kat finalised the move. And, rather than wait around for the paperwork, they decided on a more immediate house swap, with the Carters moving into the Slater house, while Kat and the Slaters moved into The Vic. And how better to celebrate than with a holiday? Priya was appalled as Elaine informed her that she was taking back the cruise, and planned on upgrading it to a family package. Sorry Priya! Vinny shared some ugly home truths over Suki’s parenting (Credit: BBC) Vinny and Suki exchanged words At the Panesar home, Ravi and Suki stressed over the state of their finances. With the money still missing, they were stressed that they might lose the restaurant. Suki became distracted by the sight of Vinny, rooting through her things in search of pictures of Ash. She was still smarting that Ash hadn’t told her she was getting engaged, and took her frustration out on her remaining son. Following some advice from Eve, Suki tried to make it up to Vinny… only to get angry again when she discovered that he was planning on attending Ash’s engagement party. As a vicious argument broke out, mother and son dredged up the past – leading to a brutal slap around the face from Suki to Vinny. Avani learned that she’s with child (Credit: BBC) Avani discovered that she’s pregnant in EastEnders tonight Avani was in a sulk about something. Ravi worried that she was in trouble again, but Priya reassured him that she was probably just stressed out by Vinny and Suki‘s arguing. Sensing her mood, Ravi tried to talk to his daughter, but she refused to open up. Instead, she hit up Barney, who took her over to Harry’s Barn for a bit of peace and quiet. In the back room, she confirmed her worst suspicions – she’s pregnant. What will she do next? Jack got to arrest his ex-wife’s side-piece (Credit: BBC) Nicola called the police on Ravi in EastEnders tonight Nicola grew suspicious after witnessing an exchange between Harry and Ravi in the street. Rightfully realising that the pair were up to no good, she swung by The Arches, where Harry confirmed her worst suspicions. He sent her packing with a flea in her ear… but not before she nicked his phone. Having hacked the phone, she promptly shared her findings with Jack, tipping him off to one of Ravi’s dodgy deals. Later, Harry was a no-show as Ravi and Okie prepared for the latest deal. Jack and the police arrived in his stead, arresting them both for possession with intent to supply after finding drugs on Okie. Ravi quipped about his fling with Jack’s wife as they slapped on the cuffs, but can he stay cool under pressure? Lauren wondered whether Oscar should know about Annie (Credit: BBC) Oscar’s arrival had Linda spooked Witnessing Annie totter off from her mum and Elaine while they were distracted, Oscar stepped in to return their wayward child… and introduce himself. Recognising the name, Linda paled and scarpered with an excuse. Later, Lauren tried to reassure Linda that Oscar isn’t even in touch with Max, and should be told about Annie. Will Linda tell him about his half-sister? Also in EastEnders tonight Johnny tried to talk to Callum about the state of their affair. Callum was having none of it though, and gave Johnny the cold shoulder. Is this it for Johnny and Callum? Overhearing Ian’s plans to sell Beale’s Eels, Cindy was fuming, and another argument broke out between the warring Beales. Vicki was still in a state of disbelief that Bernie had robbed the Panesars, leaving her more skint than ever. As she mooted calling the police, Kathy offered to call Sharon in the hope that she could let Vicki stay – thereby distracting her from calling the police and dredging up all that ‘Six’ stuff again. Having spoken to Sharon, she’d convinced her to let Vicki stay. But what will Vicki do for work? Read more: Who’s leaving, joining and returning to EastEnders?
