BBC/Composite: EastEnders Insider Share By Joel Harley Oct 28 2025 By Joel Harley Oct 28 2025 Who's out to get Zoe? All the potential culprits as she receives a chilling threat Who destroyed the picture? Kat Moon Zoe Slater Share By Joel Harley Oct 28 2025 By Joel Harley Oct 28 2025 Zoe Slater received a menacing threat in EastEnders tonight (Tuesday, October 28), after discovering that a picture of herself and Kat had been destroyed. Smashed up and smeared in fake blood, it was obviously a threat – but from who? Zoe’s made no shortage of enemies since returning to Walford, and only made things worse for herself by lying about the identity of her twins’ father. And as Kat exposed her daughter’s lies, Vicki and the furious residents of Walford reacted with shock, horror and fury. But who’s angry enough to threaten Zoe? And how much danger is she in? Here’s what happened in EastEnders tonight – followed by our run-down of all the potential culprits. Zoe received a terrifying threat (Credit: BBC) Zoe received a chilling message as Kat set an ultimatum Bombshell well and truly dropped, the punters at The Vic were quick to react to news of Zoe’s big lie. As the pub quiz fell apart, Ian confronted Ian and Alfie over Zoe’s behaviour. Meanwhile, upstairs, Zoe was holding herself a big old self-pity party. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers With the quiz in tatters, Kat began to realise the effect her daughter’s presence was having on the business. And not just The Vic either – Bert and Ernie had sensed the atmosphere between Kat and Zoe. Later, Kat finally unloaded on Zoe, reminding her of how loved and cared for as a child. Kat didn’t hold back, either, condemning her daughter’s recent behaviour and utter lack of maturity. After demanding she return the money to Sharon (with an apology), Kat set the terms – right your wrongs, or leave. Ultimatum set, Zoe packed her bags (plus bottle of wine, for the road). Mo was heartbroken to be losing her granddaughter again, but Zoe didn’t get very far. Someone had trashed a photo of her and Kat, smeared in fake blood. Kat had a watertight (or Alfie-tight) alibi though. Who’s got it in for Zoe? Vicki’s out for blood (Credit: BBC) 1. Vicki swore revenge in EastEnders tonight Of everyone who might have it in for Zoe, Vicki Fowler seems to be the likeliest culprit. She’s had it in for Zoe ever since she returned to Walford, and the big baby lie might just be enough to push her over the edge. Earlier in the episode, Vicki learned that Sharon would not be returning to Walford. Having heard about the Lie, Sharon fled to Florida, and to another visit to Vicki’s mum, Michelle. Zack advised caution rather than go in all guns blazing in her war against Zoe, but she still had Ross and Joel playing on her mind. “I am not going to let her get away with this,” she snarled, revenge on the brain. Anthony still has feelings for Zoe (Credit: BBC) 2. Anthony was notably absent in EastEnders tonight Well, he always seems to be hanging around at the moment. The mild-mannered doctor seems like an unlikely one to be harassing Zoe, but he does seem rather keen to play the role of saviour whenever she’s in trouble. A ploy from her lovelorn ex to win Zoe back, perhaps? Some are convinced Joel will be back for Halloween (Credit: BBC) 3. Joel’s Halloween revenge? Extremely unlikely, given that Joel is in police custody at the moment. Regardless, rumours persist that he’ll return on Halloween to do something (even more) terrible. Could Zoe Slater be his latest victim? Oscar can’t bury his suspicions about Jasmine (Credit: BBC) 4. Questions persisted about Jasmine in EastEnders tonight Could the Cindy Beale rumours be a red herring? All signs point to Cindy as the subject of Jasmine’s presumed revenge, but what if it’s Jasmine? She stormed out of The Albert shortly before Zoe discovered the picture, so she could have had the time to sneak in to The Vic. But what reason could Jasmine have for targeting Zoe? Butter wouldn’t melt (Credit: BBC) 5. Was it Bert and Ernie? Earlier in the episode, Bert and Ernie had asked their mum to stop all the arguing with Kat. Only a few hours later, Zoe found a beloved family picture… smashed to pieces. Coincidence? Or did Bert and Ernie destroy Zoe’s picture? Jean’s still stewing over Stacey (Credit: BBC) 6. Zoe’s not in Jean’s good books Jean’s had it in for Zoe ever since she drove Stacey out of Walford. “One of these days… someone’s going to teach her a lesson,” Jean said, a few weeks ago. Might the smashed-up picture be an act of revenge by Jean? Who destroyed the picture? (Credit: BBC) 7. Zoe targeted by her own son? Zoe’s been firing on all cylinders in an attempt to find her son – but what if he found her first? The smashed-up picture could be the start of a campaign of revenge against the woman who abandoned him as a child. Is Zoe’s son closer than she thinks? Zoe’s not exactly been trustworthy since returning to Albert Square (Credit: BBC) 8. More lies from Zoe? Did Zoe destroy the picture herself? Well, she does have previous – faking a threatening phone call as she tried to hit up Alfie and Stacey for money. The busted photograph could be a ploy by Zoe to win sympathy from Kat, while not actually having to leave The Vic. Is this another scheme from Zoe? What else happened in EastEnders tonight? Following a dramatic night at The Queen Vic, many of the residents took themselves over to The Albert, where the drinks continued to flow. Still suspicious over Jasmine's recent behaviour, Oscar decided to question her over her past. Getting nowhere, he struck up a partnership with Elaine. But are they prepared for the answers they'll find? Elsewhere, Suki and Eve came to a momentous decision after meeting with two adoptive parents, while Ravi handed over control of the business to Okie. Here's everything else that happened in EastEnders tonight. Oscar and Elaine are out for answers Spotting Nigel in the pub, Oscar attempted to quiz him over the accident. Jasmine's ominous words seemed to slip Nigel's mind though, and Oscar was none the wiser as the exchange ended. Still confused by Jasmine's behaviour, Oscar confided in Lauren. She reassured him that it was obvious Jasmine likes him, and encouraged him to talk to her. At The Albert, Oscar put his sister's advice into action, and continued to try and quiz Jasmine over her past. She remained elusive, distracting him with a kiss. Oscar wasn't the only one with questions though, as Elaine was growing annoyed about the lack of bank details or address from her dodgy employee. And so, as she shared her frustration with Oscar, a partnership was struck. But what answers will Elaine and Oscar find? Suki and Eve decided to adopt In preparation for their adoption plans, Suki and Eve were set to meet with a pair of adoptive parents and their daughter. Such careful plans soon fell apart at the return of Priya, Ravi and the kids. With a house packed full, Eve and Suki welcomed the family home. Suki clashed with the two mothers over their approach to parenting, stuffing her face with cake rather than unload on them in true Suki Panesar fashion. The meeting may not have gone well, but it had been enough to convince Suki that adoption was right for her and Eve. Ravi left Okie in charge Still in holiday mode, Ravi was feeling guilty about lying to Priya. He'd decided to take a back seat in the business - and met with Okie to tell him as much. After Okie reassured him that he'd let Harry and Kojo go, Ravi told him he was taking a step back. Okie's now in charge! But what does this mean for Harry and Kojo? Also on EastEnders tonight Lauren supports Louie's turn to veggie - bring on the lentil diet. Ross shared drinks with Ian and Harvey at The Albert, and George told Elaine how worried he was about Kojo. Read more: Who’s leaving, joining and returning to EastEnders?
