In tomorrow night’s episode (Thursday 15 November), Kat’s estranged husband arrives in Albert Square during a dramatic hour-long episode. But what does he want? Later in the episode, Kat and Alfie eventually meet face to face – but Kat is devastated when she realises her beloved kids are still in Spain. Of course, viewers know that Alfie is hiding a huge secret – that he had a fling with Hayley in Spain and her newborn is the result. Is it wrong that we’re REALLY looking forward to Kat finding out? Alfie and Hayley had a one-night-stand (Credit: BBC) One thing is pretty clear as veteran Alfie returns to Albert Square – a happy ever after doesn’t look likely for the fandom’s favourite couple. Alfie made a brief return earlier this year when it was revealed he’s the father of Hayley Slater’s baby. But Kat doesn’t know this – and neither does he because he thought Hayley had a termination. Kat has been throwing herself into helping Hayley while trying to take her mind off her own motherhood woes. But seeing Hayley and her daughter together gets Kat thinking. Hayley has been hiding the identity of the baby daddy with good reason (Credit: BBC) Alfie’s return was confirmed earlier this year after he was revealed as the father of Hayley’s baby. Only Hayley and Jean know it’s his and, so far, Jean has kept quiet – knowing Kat would go off the deep end if she found out. Kat’s been very involved with helping Hayley deal with her fears over motherhood, even taking on Hayley’s mum Bev to protect her cousin.
