EastEnders isn't on BBC One today - here's when it's on next

Another shake-up to the schedules
Joel Harley

EastEnders is not airing on BBC One tonight, as coverage of Wimbledon continues to disrupt this week’s TV schedules. The soap usually airs from Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm, with each episode dropping that morning at 6am.

However, that hasn’t been the case this week. With Wimbledon playing on BBC One tonight and last night, this means that the soap has had to move from its usual slot.

But when will it be on next?

EastEnders is not on BBC One tonight – but where is it on next?

The soap will return to BBC One tomorrow night (Wednesday, July 9) with a double bill, showing Monday and Tuesday’s episodes at 8pm and 8.30pm. It will then return on Thursday and Friday at 7pm for the rest of the week’s episodes.

Those who can’t wait for the soap to air can also stream Monday and Tuesday’s episodes on BBC iPlayer now, with the rest dropping on Wednesday and Thursday at 6am as usual.

What’s happening on EastEnders today?

After discovering Ravi’s drugs in yesterday’s iPlayer episode, Harry desperately tries to get in touch with Ravi. With Kojo refusing to refuse to work until the car is gone, Harry attempts to reach him over the phone.

Later, he’s forced to lie to Phil about why the car is in the garage, and a tense conversation ensues when Harry finally manages to track Ravi down. Witnessing the exchange, Nicola does some digging – and sneaks into The Arches to find out what they’re hiding.

Later, Harry is horrified to discover that the drugs are gone. He accuses Nicola of taking it… but was she really responsible?

Elsewhere, Lauren surprises Peter with a family picnic. However, the good mood doesn’t last, as Cindy accuses her of carrying on with Zack behind Peter’s back. Blindsided, Lauren admits that she kissed Zack.

Elsewhere, Elaine is an unexpected saviour for Cindy at The Albert, and Callum is full of guilt after spending the night with Johnny.
