EastEnders SPOILERS: Max proposes to Ruby

Max has been dating Ruby Allen for a few months

Max wants to prove to Ruby he’s serious about them, but what will she say when he pops the question in next week’s EastEnders?

Viewers know Max and Ruby have been dating for the past several months but the age gap has become more and more obvious to the businessman (and the viewers at home!)

At the E20 on Thursday November 21 Max is left humiliated when a customer mistakes him for Ruby’s dad instead of her boyfriend.

After comments from Jean and Jack winding him up, Max realises he needs to up his game to keep his girlfriend.

In order to prove to Ruby he’s serious about their relationship, he plans to propose!

Jack encourages his brother to follow his heart, leading Max to ask Bobby for a favour for the proposal.

However when Ian overhears, he enjoys winding Max up.

Reveling in his newfound knowledge, Ian makes a plan of his own – to ensure everyone witnesses Max’s proposal at the restaurant.

With everyone gathered, they wait for the big moment.
