EastEnders viewers upset as Sharon Mitchell discovers she's pregnant

She slept with Louise's boyfriend Keanu recently

Fans of BBC’s EastEnders are not happy after it was revealed in last night’s episode (Monday June 10) that Sharon Mitchell is also pregnant.

Last year, Sharon began having an affair with her husband Phil’s 19-year-old employee Keanu Taylor.

Sharon ended the affair with the mechanic and the same day, Louise and Keanu’s brother Keegan broke up. Both heartbroken, Louise and Keanu ended up sleeping together in the Arches.

Sharon encouraged Phil to send Keanu on a job to Spain where he was savagely beaten up by six men.

When Keanu returned, Phil paid him to keep an eye on Louise, worried that some men may be after him and the family, but Keanu eventually started to fall for Phil’s daughter.

Louise recently discovered she was pregnant, but also discovered her dad was paying Keanu to be with her.

After telling Keanu she had aborted their baby and wanted nothing more to do with him, Keanu was left heartbroken and ended up sleeping with Sharon again.

In yesterday’s episode, Phil arranged for Keanu to go away to work at another garage so Louise didn’t have to see him, but after some encouragement from Sharon and Bex, Louise ran to tell Keanu that she was still pregnant.

The pair made up, but across the Square Sharon had just taken a pregnancy test which came out positive. There is, of course, a good chance that the baby is Keanu’s.

This latest twist hasn’t impressed viewers who are not happy Sharon is pregnant.

In fact, Sharon is 48, so it’s not beyond the realms of possibility she could be pregnant.

EastEnders is on Mondays and Fridays at 8pm and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7.30pm.
