Ravi’s actions have grown increasingly dark over the past few months, as he’s upped the drug dealing game to try and make ends meet. In doing so, he’s forced both Harry and Kojo into the business, utilising Kojo’s flat as a base of operations. Harry was successful in getting mum Nicola to buy him out of his debt – but this backfired when Ravi refused to release Kojo. And, as Teddy planted a ‘hidden’ camera in the flat, matters went from bad to worse. Ravi is on holiday with his family at the moment, having left Okie in charge of the business. He’d instructed Okie to release Harry before he left – an order Okie ignored. With Okie growing ever too-big for his boots, some wonder whether this is setting up Ravi’s redemption arc. (Credit: BBC) EastEnders fans convinced soap will try to ‘redeem’ Ravi Writing on Reddit as recent scenes aired, one fan asked: “Will Ravi save Harry?” In response, fellow viewers shared their thoughts on the story’s future. “He’s an ongoing character, so they’ll want to try and redeem him in some way, and setting him in opposition to people who are worse is one way to help do that,” wrote one fan. Another agreed: “It’s so obvious they’re setting up a Ravi redemption storyline where Okie gets 100% of the blame. “I think his “redemption arc” will be that the dealers – Okie and the people above him – become more of a threat and he has to take them down, seeing what he’s helped to create,” said a third. Over on X, another viewer said: “There’s a high chance that Ravi might team up with Nicola or George and attempt to save Kojo and Harry from Okie’s clutches. But that by no means indicates that Ravi is forgiven. He needs to take accountability and show remorse for his actions.” Can the soap redeem Ravi? Or is he too far gone by now?
