The BBC has launched an investigation after the cheeky temp tried to flog the script to the MailOnline. And he said he wanted a four-figure sum to ruin the Christmas episodes for fans. The temp told the MailOnline that he worked at the BBC Elstree studios where Enders is filmed, and that he’d found the script lying on the kerb outside. “It was as if someone had been sitting there reading it, and had left it, or as if it had been dropped out of someone’s bag,” he said. The sneaky temp said the script he found reveals what happens to Abi and Lauren and told the publication that “it’s a really dramatic ending”. Back in September it was announced that the Branning sisters will be leaving the show in “explosive” episodes as part of a shake-up by new producer John Yorke. But while we’re all desperate to know how Abi and Lauren will say goodbye to Walford for good, it’s always exciting to be surprised by the Christmas episodes, so we’re glad the scheme to spill the beans fell flat. A spokesperson for the BBC said they were investigating the matter.
