She couldn’t believe he’d abandon her and their daughter Pearl. Now, as time has gone on, she’s beginning to think something more sinister is at play – that perhaps he is even dead. Becoming suspicious about the REAL reason he gave her the money and no longer believing it was from the sale of his car, Kim questioned Phil about what he knows. And the Walford villain did what he does best – LIED through his teeth! He told Kim in no uncertain terms to forget Vincent, telling her the heartbreaking (and untrue) news that he fled abroad with another woman. He said: “Vincent called me, told me to give you the cash. He’s abroad… with another bird. Younger, less nagging, more loving, you know the story. I suppose he felt guilty, nothing more. “Do yourself a favour and left him go. He ain’t worth it!” Playing the innocent, Phil insisted he didn’t tell her the truth to protect her from the pain of being dumped. Maybe Phil forgot who he was dealing with, however, as Kim promptly went to look for Vincent’s passport – and found it, proving he’s still in the UK. Now Kim is pregnant, she needs to know the truth about Vincent (Credit: BBC) Discovering that his bank account hasn’t been touched since he went AWOL, either, Kim now fears the worst – that her husband is dead. Now she knows Phil is lying to her and hiding a massive secret, she is like a dog with a bone and becomes intent on discovering the truth. But with Phil equally as determined not to implicate himself, the pair come to a stand-off. But what exactly is the truth? And will the crumb trail lead Kim to gangster Aidan Maguire?
