The actor played Alfie Moon in the BBC soap until 2015 before Alfie and his wife Kat won the lottery and moved abroad. Alfie and Kat returned briefly in 2016 before leaving to go to Ireland, which was seen on screen in stand alone drama Redwater. However at the end of the series both Kat and Alfie were left fighting for their lives. But now Shane has revealed the couples’ almost certain death could be written around and the popular pairing could return to EastEnders.
