And when? Bea and Honey have struck up a new friendship over the last few weeks, and it seems Bea is becoming something of a bad influence. Not only has usually straight-laced Honey been drinking on the job, but Bea has also convinced her that she needs to sue the Panesars after she was injured falling off a ladder in yesterday’s EastEnders. Today’s episode (Tuesday, February 3) saw the pair getting drunk with wine they’d stolen from the Minute Mart. As the pinot flowed, Bea started to convince Honey that she could get a big payout for her injuries. After moving on to The Vic, where more wine was consumed, Bea asks Honey to dish the gossip on Suki. Little did she know, Honey was harboring a huge secret about her boss. The kiss Honey was referring to happened back in 2021 when Suki was coming to terms with her sexuality. Having built up a friendship with Honey, Suki was grateful when Honey stepped in to help smooth over an argument with her daughter, Ash. The pair went to the Pride of Walflord awards together, and later headed back to Suki’s house, where they shared a drink. However, Suki misread the signs and tried to kiss Honey, leaving Honey shocked. Humiliated that Honey had rejected her, Suki went into self-defence mode and turned nasty. She threatened Honey that if she told anyone about what happened, she would make her life hell. She then turned down Honey’s requests for time off work, and as their one-sided feud turned physical, Suki even attacked Honey, doling out a painful slap. Stumbling back to Peacock Palace after their night of drinking, Bea and Honey wrote an email to Suki. In the email, they outlined their plans to sue for Honey’s injuries, as well as for sexual harassment. Max was sitting close by and told the women they would regret the email (since when did Max Branning become the voice of reason?!), but Bea pointed out they were going to refine it once they were sober the next day. However, as Honey read over what they had written, she accidentally pressed send. Oops! Will the Panesars take Honey seriously? Or could she soon be out of a job?
