And, what will the rest of this week’s schedules look like? EastEnders returned to BBC One at its usual time of 7.30pm last night, as Oscar Branning arrived in Walford to much pomp and circumstance. Meanwhile, a worried Jay decided to track down Nigel’s estranged wife, and Harry moved out as he started work for Ravi. With Julie’s return imminent, fans will be eager to see man and wife finally reunited – but what time should they tune in? However, there’s a twist in store – another episode will then play immediately afterwards, at 8pm. Both episodes are also available on BBC iPlayer, having dropped at 6am this morning. The soap will then return to screens at the earlier time of 7pm tomorrow, with that episode also landing at 6am that day. Julie’s determined to take Nigel home (Credit: BBC) Julie returns to Walford Following her surprise call from Jay, Julie arrives in Walford. She soon tracks down Nigel, causing him to grow upset when she argues with Phil. As Phil explains the situation, Julie reveals that she plans on taking her husband back to Scotland. Phil is horrified at the prospect of losing his friend, and another vicious argument breaks out. What will Julie and Phil do about Nigel? Meanwhile, Oscar makes himself at home, winding up Ian by pulling off a scam in the chippy. But when the exchange is witnessed by Peter and Lauren’s social worker, Lauren and her family are determined to put Oscar on the straight and narrow. Can they convince him to give the fruit and veg stall a go? Elsewhere, Ian’s plans to buy The Vic hit a sticking point when Stacey wins £100k on a scratch card – and announces the Slaters’ own plans to bid for the boozer.
