Lawyer Ritchie arrives at the station, where she advises Zoe that Anthony suffered two blows to the head – meaning Chrissie could have killed him. Zoe calls Kat, and begs her not to involve Jasmine. Meanwhile, Patrick is desperate for answers, and visits the station in his quest for truth. Elsewhere, as planning for Jimmy’s christening continues, Lauren and Peter worry about Max and Cindy meeting for the first time. They decide to uninvite Max due to his behaviour at Christmas, but Lauren has second thoughts when he buys Jimmy a thoughtful gift. Going against Peter’s wishes, she decides to invite Max after all. Cindy refuses to go if Max is there, but it turns out she needn’t have worried. Max soon finds himself uninvited when Jack drops another bombshell. Still, Max decides to ignore Lauren’s warning, and heads to the church anyway. As the ceremony get underway, Lauren and Peter are horrified to see Max come sauntering through the door.
