5 EastEnders spoilers for this week: Anthony returns, Tommy's onto Alfie's lies, and Joel loses his cool

EastEnders spoilers for this week see the eagerly-awaited return of Anthony Trueman to Walford. Anthony has come back to see his dad ahead of the wedding, but is soon blindsided by the news that Patrick was attacked.

Meanwhile, as Anthony attempts to process the news, guilt-ridden Oscar decides to confess all. Does another spell behind bars beckon for Oscar?

Elsewhere, Tommy learns the truth about Alife’s Zoe lies and, as Joel targets Amy and Lily, he publicly loses his temper. Meanwhile, the situation with Ravi and Okie escalates when Harry is forced to deal with a rogue firearm.

1. Anthony’s back!

Anthony Trueman returns to Walford ahead of his father’s wedding. However, his happy reunion is soon marred by news that Patrick was attacked.

How will he react when he learns what happened?

2. Oscar faces the music in EastEnders spoilers

Full of guilt over the attack, Oscar decides to confess to Patrick. Later, as news of Oscar’s confession spreads, Peter realises that Lauren has been covering for her brother.

She tells Howie to sort the situation out, threatening to reveal all about his blackmail and the theft of the gambling money. However, interfering Anthony gets in the way of his efforts to talk Patrick around,

At the police station, Oscar is convinced that he’s going back to prison.

3. Joel loses his temper

Wanting to see his favourite influencer live, Joel tries to hustle up money for the tickets. Ross refuses, so he hits up Ian for a job.

When Ian turns him down, Harry intercepts, offering him a job wiping phones. The next day, at the cafe, Joel lashes out by saying some offensive things to Lily and Amy. His outburst shocks even Tommy, who’s ordered home by Kat.

Later, Amy tells Vicki and Ross what happened at the cafe. They’re disgusted to hear of Joel’s latest actions, but the situation turns even uglier when Ross attempts to reprimand his son.

4. Tommy learns the truth about Zoe in EastEnders spoilers

Tommy lends a hand helping Joel to wipe the phones. He’s surprised to recognise Kat’s stolen phone and listens in to her voicemail.

The truth about Alfie and Zoe comes out when he listens to Alfie’s drunken confessional. Later, after promising to talk to Tommy about his friendship with Joel, Alfie is stunned when he reveals that he’s heard the message and knows what happened.

Alfie begs Tommy to keep quiet, enlisting Stacey to help explain the situation. Later, after Joel’s blow-out in the cafe, Kat and Tommy get into a heated row. They’re later shocked when he disappears… but where has Tommy gone?

5. Harry’s gun dilemma in EastEnders spoilers

Anna, Gina and Harry are getting ready to go to the carnival with Kojo. However, Harry is distracted by Okie, who continues to make his presence felt.

Growing increasingly paranoid, Harry is aloof with Gina, who’s unaware of what’s been going on with Okie and Kojo. She’s left frustrated when he rebuffs her attempts to make things romatic between them.

Meanwhile, Ravi walks in to see Okie showing Harry a gun. Annoyed, he demands that Harry get rid of the firearm.

The next day, George confronts Harry and demands to know whether he’s messing his daughter about. Once George leaves, Harry decides to bury the gun, but Ravi tells him that it’s a foolish move.

When Harry goes to get the gun, he’s shocked to find it gone.
