A shocking VHS from 1988 is played to the locals in the Vic, which stirs up painful memories for the Slaters. And as tensions build, Zoe grows fearful that she’s being watched. Is someone out to get her? Kat drops a bombshell about Zoe (Credit: BBC) Kat shares a shocking truth in EastEnders spoilers It’s quiz night at the Queen Vic, but Kat’s mind is still whirring over Zoe’s revelation that Dennis isn’t the dad of her long-lost son. Alfie warns his wife to keep out of it, insisting the matter is for Zoe to deal with. However, Kat just can’t let it go. She tries to talk to her daughter about what she said, but Zoe is more distracted trying to find her missing kitten. Meanwhile, Vicki talks to Ian about Zoe’s missing son. He can see how much finding him means to Sharon and transfers her some money to aid the search. As the quiz gets underway, Kat overhears Vicki talking to Ross and comes to a decision. Chaos ensues in the pub when Kat blurts out Zoe’s secret, causing the event to come to an abrupt end. The locals reel in shock from what they’ve learnt, and Kat decides Zoe’s actions have left her with no other choice but to issue her offspring with an ultimatum. Zoe decides to leave as Kat and Alfie continue to discuss the night’s events. But moments later she storms back in, accusing Kat of smashing a picture of them both. Kat angrily denies vandalising the snap, as paranoid Zoe wonders who did. While cleaning up the mess, the landlord comes across an old VHS tape from the 1980s. Alfie then acts as peacemaker as he attempts to get Jean, Kat and Zoe talking to one another again. Kat calls a truce with Zoe, but Jean isn’t so forgiving and ends up clashing with Kat. As Halloween night gets underway at the Vic, Ross arrives armed with a video player for the VHS. But Kat suddenly has second thoughts about playing the tape, worried its contents could upset Zoe. Vicki gets accused of foul play by Zoe (Credit: BBC) Meanwhile, Zoe’s paranoia about smashed photo continues to build. She accuses Vicki of doing it, leading to another spat between the foes. Anthony intervenes to break the fight up and tries to help Zoe, but ends up offending her in the process and she runs off. The situation continues to escalate when Zoe later returns to find the VHS footage is playing in The Vic. She chucks everyone out, then turns on Kat, who denies playing the tape. Anthony is shocked by Zoe’s outburst and shares his concerns. But will anyone listen? She accuses her ex Anthony of being behind the tape before ordering him to get out of the pub. Anthony urges Kat to get help for Zoe, insisting something is very wrong.
