Peter prepares his wedding speech (Credit: BBC) Peter wants to marry Lauren in EastEnders spoilers Lauren and Peter have been on rocky ground for a while, which has led them both to question if they’re right for one another. Things came to a head last week when Peter made a connection with a young mum called Demi. The pair went for a drink together behind Lauren’s back and Peter was flattered by Demi’s attentions. When Lauren found out, Peter expected her to kick off. But she wasn’t even bothered. Cindy puts on a front to support Peter (Credit: BBC) Lauren wants more excitement in their relationship – so Peter has decided to give her that. He’s roped Ian and Kathy into helping him plan a surprise wedding, in the hope of showing Lauren how serious he is about her. It’s got disaster written all over it, if you ask us. Penny wants Lauren to be honest with herself (Credit: BBC) Lauren is in for a shock As Peter and his family make the final arrangements for the surprise nuptials, he runs into a problem. Peter has arranged for Lauren to go on a spa day to get her out of Walford, but she’d rather go to work. There, conversation turns to Lauren’s relationship. Penny isn’t convinced that Peter is the man for her, which plants a seed of doubt in Lauren’s mind. Peter unveils his big surprise to Lauren (Credit: BBC) Afterwards, Lauren heads to The Vic and is stunned to find the boozer is all decked out for a wedding. Peter then stuns his fiancee by getting down on bended knee and asking if she’ll do him the honour of becoming his wife. Will Lauren say yes? Lauren starts to have second thoughts (Credit: BBC) Max crashes the wedding in EastEnders spoilers Lauren struggles to take it all in as she listens to Peter discussing their wedding plans. Feeling put on the spot, she agrees to get hitched and pops back to Number 25 to get ready. Penny picks up on Lauren’s unease and tries to dissuade her from going ahead. Lauren insists she’s fine, but she’s definitely not. Moments later Lauren tries to make a break for it, but is stopped by an unlikely ally. Having been persuaded to go ahead, Lauren arrives at the Vic ready to wed Peter. But everyone’s jaws drop to the floor when the pub door opens and in walks Lauren’s dad Max.
