After the success of ‘The Six’ flashforward in 2023, another flashforward episode is now on the cards for January 1st… Two years ago, Keanu’s death at the hands of Linda Carter kept viewers gripped for almost a year, with the identities of both the victim and the killer kept under wraps from February until the big reveal on Christmas Day. This time, we’re hoping for just as many twists and turns along the way…. but this particular flashforward centers around a single individual, instead of a group of suspects. This comes after Max recently returned to the square, following the return of son, Oscar, in July. Now he’s learnt that Linda’s youngest child, Annie, is his daughter too. With three kids and two grandkids in Walford, it’s no surprise he’s decided to stick around. It’s Max to the future (Credit: BBC) 2. ‘Expect drama’ in Eastenders spoilers Unsurprisingly for the Brannings, there’s drama aplenty, and the episode is expected to be littered with clues for the year ahead. While much is being kept under wraps about the specifics of the episode, it’s been described as ‘shocking’. With a whole year to fill in the blanks, it seems likely a lot of questions will come from the flashforward episode. Given that Max only returned full time in December, and he’s already slept with Cindy Beale and caused drama with the Carters by telling Annie he’s her dad without Linda’s permission…it seems likely that this look to the future will see the Brannings embroiled in even more scandal.
