And to say things have been rocky would be an understatement. Phil has struggled with his new houseguests, which has led to clashes with Julie. Both of them of them believe they know what’s best for dementia-stricken Nigel, but their continual quarrelling is doing nothing for his state of mind. It’s left Nigel feeling stressed and stuck in the middle as he continues to navigate the challenges of his illness. Tragedy strikes next week when Nigel and Julie wake up to discover their pets have been killed overnight. The foxes have eaten Posh and co and poor Nigel is heartbroken to realise it was all his fault. As the couple argue, Nigel becomes distressed as he can’t recall what happened. Their conversation stirs up old feelings from the past and leads Julie to make a confession. He asks Phil to take him away to the countryside in search of a time capsule he and Grant buried as kids. As the friends arrive in the middle of nowhere, Nigel is on a mission to find its location. The search initially appears to be in vain as Phil urges Nigel to admit defeat and come him with him. But to both their surprise, Nigel is able to locate the exact spot where the capsule is buried. Nigel is determined to find the time capsule (Credit: BBC) Opening it up, Nigel and Phil are shocked to discover what’s inside. Afterwards, the friends have an emotional heart-to-heart and discuss everything that’s been happening.
