At her wits end, and with Ross away, Vicki turns to Julie for help in reverting Joel’s twisted beliefs. But will it work? Joel is leading Tommy astray (Credit: BBC) Joel is out of control in EastEnders spoilers Joel’s radicalised misogyny storyline has definitely got everyone talking. Viewers have watched on in horror as the teen has been brainwashed by online influencers to carry out despicable hate crimes against women and girls. Joel has also recruited vulnerable Tommy Moon to his mission. So far, Joel’s dad Ross has been unable to bring him under control. He’s constantly making excuses for the lad’s vile behaviour, much to the frustration of his partner Vicki. Having been on the receiving end of Joel’s rage, Vicki knows how dangerous he’s become. She’s warned Ross time and time again of what will happen unless he properly disciplines his son – but it’s still not getting through. Ross leaves Vicki to look after Joel (Credit: BBC) As the week begins, Ross continues to shirk his responsibilities by taking on a second job and leaving Vicki to look after Joel. Before leaving, Ross reminds Joel to be respectful and do as Vicki says. But of course that lasts all of five minutes. Joel uses Vicki’s credit card to buy his tickets (Credit: BBC) Joel steals from Vicki Trying to take advantage of Vicki, Joel asks if she can buy him tickets to see his favourite podcaster. When she refuses, he decides to swipe her credit card instead. Later on as Vicki vents to Kathy over Joel she’s horrified to discover he used her card to purchase the tickets. Article continues below Read all the latest spoilers It gets even worse when Vicki then realises Joel has skipped school to attend the live podcast recording. She and Kathy head to the event, where they find Joel there with Tommy. A confrontation ensues and the boys are dragged home to face the music. As an angry Kat lays into Tommy, Vicki finds herself turning to Julie for help. Nigel’s wife has just landed a job at Walford High, and Vicki hopes she will be able to draw on her expertise. Julie agrees to help, but will Joel actually listen?
