And the drama is going to keep on coming as new show boss Ben Wadey gets his teeth stuck in and keeps on bringing the good stuff. In this week’s episodes we’ve seen Teddy attempt to bring down Ravi and Okie, as their cruel exploitation of Kojo continued. Elsewhere, Joel unleashed a horrific attack on Vicki, leaving her bloodied and unconscious on the kitchen floor. The drama continues in spoilers for October 13 – 17, as a terrified Harry remains Okie and Ravi’s hostage. Meanwhile, the fallout from Joel’s attack on Vicki is revealed. And beyond that? How do you solve a problem like Harry? Having discovered Teddy’s hidden camera (and thinking that Harry was responsible) Ravi and Okie are holding Harry captive. Teddy’s worried sick, but the pair coerce Harry into making a phone call telling him that he’s safe with Kojo. After Harry admits that the camera is connected to his laptop, he’s dismayed when Ravi still refuses to release him. But there’s worse in store when Ravi decides to take a holiday with his family, leaving Okie in charge. Ravi tells Okie to release Harry, but instead he takes Gina out on a date. Locked up and helpless, a desolate Harry turns to drugs to escape his pain. But what further torment does Okie have planned for Harry? Ross is horrified to find Vicki in hospital (Credit: BBC) 2. Vicki’s hospitalised in the aftermath of Joel attack After being subjected to a vicious attack by Joel, Vicki seeks help at The Vic. Realising he’s gone too far, Joel hides out at the Slaters, with the help of Tommy. Zoe realises that Tommy is hiding something (or someone), but her brother remains tight-lipped. Meanwhile, Ross learns that someone has attacked Vicki, and attempts to quash rumours that Joel was responsible. At the hospital, he learns that she’ll pull through… but will she tell him that Joel was behind her attack? Cindy is impressed by Jasmine’s ambition (Credit: BBC) 3. Jasmine’s true identity uncovered in EastEnders spoilers Newcomer Jasmine quickly bagged herself a job at The Albert upon her arrival. She’s already caught the eye of Oscar Branning and Cindy Beale seems really taken with her. But it’s become very clear very quickly that Jasmine isn’t all that she seems. While some fans are convinced she is Zoe Slater’s secret son who has transitioned, others think she has a darker connection to Walford than that. As Jasmine admitted to being from a family of criminals and was also shady about providing her paperwork for the job, fans are convinced she is from one criminal family in particular: the Ford clan. Jackie Ford is the woman who Cindy informed on in prison and was put into witness protection for. Although she is now dead, hence why Cindy has her whole life back, is Jasmine a relative out for revenge? And if so, is Cindy in terrible danger? Just how honest is Zoe being? (Credit: BBC) 4. Delving deeper into Zoe’s past in EastEnders spoilers Zoe Slater made her surprise return earlier this year, amid a cloud of mystery and lies. After months of speculation, the soap finally revealed what Zoe had been up to since leaving Walford in 2005 – she’d given birth to twins in 2006, and given her surviving son up for adoption. Poor Zoe probably should have stayed away from Walford. She hadn’t been back five minutes when she copped a bullet from Jack and Ravi, who had been battling it out on the Square nearby. As paramedics rushed her to the hospital, her troubled past was revealed – including a surprising Max Branning connection. It turned out that the grubby Greg Dolan was still alive, and out for revenge. But with Dolan now out of the picture, Zoe’s past remains problematic. She is desperate to find her son and reconnect with him after all these years. But is she lying about his father in order to get money out of Sharon? And what will happen when she is reunited with him? Will it be all she hoped for? Or is Zoe set for more heartache ahead? Max is back where he belongs (Credit: BBC) 5. Max prepares for a permanent return Max returned this week and immediately put himself at the centre of the drama. He’s only back briefly but that hasn’t stopped him from rowing with daughter Lauren, ending things with Zoe, and driving Stacey out of Walford. But, after going away for a little while, Max will be back in the Square on a permanent basis later this year. We’re expecting a lot more drama between Lauren and Max, and Zoe for that matter. This is not to mention the fact he has a secret daughter, Annie, who he knows nothing of. What will happen when Linda returns and the pair reconnect? Eve wants to adopt (Credit: BBC) 6. Baby talk for Suki and Eve Eve and Suki are ready to talk adoption after Eve suggested that they raise a baby together. Suki then looked into the idea online, but some cruel comments about her past parenting experiences from Priya cast doubt in Suki’s mind. Is she already having second thoughts? Freddie and Stacey are leaving the soap (Credit: BBC) 7. Freddie’s farewell in EastEnders spoilers Zoe may have recently returned, but the Slater ranks will be thinned again before the year ends. Bobby Brazier is set to leave the soap in upcoming scenes, shortly after Lacey Turner’s recently exit.
