Upcoming 8 EastEnders spoilers: The Mitchells are in turmoil, Joel continues to torment Vicki, and Sam's coming back

Here's what's coming up on EastEnders
Joel Harley

That was quite a week in EastEnders spoilers, wasn’t it?! And the drama is going to keep on coming as new show boss Ben Wadey gets his teeth stuck in and keeps on bringing the good stuff.

In this week’s episodes, Teddy took the rap after Harry accidentally killed Okie – getting himself hit with a murder charge as he confessed to the stabbing.

Elsewhere, Junior left Walford for good, Nigel learned that he was off the hook for the car crash, and Vicki struggled with her trauma after Joel’s attack.

The drama continues in spoilers for November 17 – 21, as Vicki kisses Zack (!), Zoe finds a clue to her stalker’s identity, and Jasmine leads Oscar astray again.

And beyond that? Read on for our pick of the best upcoming spoilers for EastEnders.

1. Nicola tries to hold her family together in EastEnders spoilers

The nu-Mitchells struggle in the wake of recent events, with Teddy behind bars, Harry in the grip of drug addiction, and Nicola pregnant with George’s child. With Teddy facing a long stretch in prison on murder charges, Nicola struggles to hold her family together.

And, as Harry’s addiction takes him to new lows, Nicola barely has time to worry about her own geriatric (sorry Nicola, that’s the medical term) pregnancy. How will George react when he learns that Nicola is carrying his child? Can Harry manage to overcome – or even survive – his drug battle? And what of poor Barney, caught in the middle, as per usual?

2. Vicki takes comfort in Zack’s arms as she continues to struggle with her trauma

Vicki’s continued to struggle with her recovery after her beating at Joel’s hands. She’s in for more bad news when she learns that Joel is planning on pleading not guilty to the attack.

After a violent run-in with a man at the launderette, she feels supported by Zack. And, as they return home, the pair share a kiss on the sofa.

Kathy is shocked when she returns home to find Vicki and Zack canoodling. They beg her not to tell Sharon and, as Zack tries to apologise, Kathy insists that he turn his attention to Barney, who needs his support right now.

Meanwhile, Ross is determined to win Vicki back – although she doesn’t take kindly to his attempts at making a grand gesture, and gives him the brush-off.

3. Zoe’s tormentor strikes again as the search for her son continues

Zoe Slater made her surprise return earlier this year, amid a cloud of mystery and lies. After months of speculation, the soap finally revealed what Zoe had been up to since leaving Walford in 2005 – she’d given birth to twins in 2006, and given her surviving son up for adoption.

Zoe’s launched a search for her son, although her recent spate of secrets and lies haven’t done her any favours. After admitting she lied about Dennis Rickman being the father, she then faked a series of defaced pictures, making it look as though she had a stalker.

Alfie and Jean are convinced that she’s making things up, but a fresh clue emerges when her stalker strikes again. Finding an incriminating item of jewellery in the barrel store, she and Alfie finally have their first piece of evidence.

4. Jasmine’s up to something EastEnders spoilers

Newcomer Jasmine quickly bagged herself a job at The Albert upon her arrival. She’s already caught the eye of Oscar Branning and Cindy Beale seems really taken with her.

But it’s become very clear very quickly that Jasmine isn’t all that she seems. A cryptic comment in the wake of Nigel’s car crash revealed that she’s arrived in town with a dark vendetta in mind. And, as she recovered in hospital, a sinister message hinted that she’s working for someone rather dangerous.

But who? Jasmine herself admitted to being from a family of criminals – and was also shady about providing her paperwork for the job. Fans are now convinced that she’s from one criminal family in particular: the Ford clan.

Jackie Ford is the woman who Cindy informed on in prison and was put into witness protection for. Although she is now dead (hence why Cindy has her whole life back) is Jasmine a relative out for revenge? And if so, is Cindy in terrible danger?

Oscar attempted to find out more about Jasmine, but only succeeded in getting her closer to Cindy when his search for the truth backfired. With Jasmine now staying in Cindy’s home, she’s in prime position to strike – stealing the keys to the surgery so she can do some more snooping on Anthony’s computer.

But what does Jasmine have planned for Cindy?

5. Suki and Eve’s adoption journey continues in EastEnders spoilers

Eve and Suki are set on the next path in their marriage. After reconciling their recent differences, the pair decided to adopt.

It looked doubtful for a while there, with the arrival of Norma’s horrible mother, but some kind words from Suki and Lily were successful in bolstering Eve’s confidence.

Things are looking promising for now, but will it be smooth sailing for Suki and Eve? And how will news of Ravi’s arrest affect their adoption chances?

6. Sam returns to Walford at Christmas

Following months of speculation, EastEnders revealed this week that Sam Mitchell is set to return to EastEnders. Of Sam’s return, Executive Producer Ben Wadey said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kim Medcalf back to EastEnders for a short stint later this year.

“It’s no secret that wherever Sam Mitchell goes, drama inevitably follows, and with ex-accomplice Zoe Slater back in the Square, only time will tell if there is space for forgiveness between the pair, or whether battle lines will be drawn.”

But what brings Sam back home to Walford? And what part does she play in Zoe’s stalker torment?

7. Max prepares for a permanent return

Sam’s not the only one coming back to the soap – Max Branning’s on his way back too!

Love rat Max returned (again) for Lauren and Peter’s recent wedding, immediately putting himself at the centre of the drama. He’s only back briefly but that hasn’t stopped him from rowing with daughter Lauren, ending things with Zoe, and driving Stacey out of Walford.

But, after going away for a little while, Max will be back in the Square on a permanent basis later this year. We’re expecting a lot more drama between Lauren and Max, and Zoe for that matter.

This is not to mention the fact he has a secret daughter, Annie, who he knows nothing of. What will happen when Linda returns and the pair reconnect?

8. Farewell Freddie and Anna

Junior’s not the only one on his way out of Walford. Freddie Slater and Anna Knight are also set to be leaving the soap before the year is out.

Of Bobby’s exit, an EastEnders rep revealed to The Sun: “We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the BBC told RadioTimes.com: “We can confirm that Molly Rainford will be leaving EastEnders later this year, and we wish her all the best for the future.”

Will former lovers Freddie and Anna leave the soap together?
