Sam Mitchell learns that she has breast cancer in EastEnders spoilers for next week, as the results of her biopsy come in. Sam arrived back in Walford earlier this month, revealing to Jack and Phil that she’d found a worrying lump on her breast.

After some haranguing from her worried family, Sam finally agreed to make an appointment with the hospital, and has been anxiously waiting her biopsy results since then.

Sam’s worst fears are confirmed when she learns that she has cancer, and shares her terrifying news with Kat after a run-in at The Vic. Will Sam face the same tragic fate as her mother, Peggy Mitchell? And is there any truth to Kat’s accusations that she’s been stalking Zoe?

Julie drops a bombshell about Sam

As the week begins, the residents of Walford gather for the premiere of Nigel’s film. This includes Sam, who arrives at the community centre to a frosty reaction from Kat.

Making it clear that she’s not welcome, Kat tells Sam to leave. But it’s Kat who’s in for a surprise, when Julie reveals that Sam has been back in the country for months – causing her to suspect that Sam might be behind Zoe’s stalking.

Sam reveals she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer in EastEnders spoilers

The next day, on Christmas Eve, Sam shares a heart-to-heart with Phil after the events of last night. While Nigel doesn’t remember anything about the premiere, Phil and Sam share an emotional conversation about the importance of family.

Later, Kat is shocked to see Sam sneaking around in The Vic back of house. Assuming that she’s there on nefarious business, Kat immediately accuses her of being Zoe’s stalker.

However, Sam responds with some alarming news. The biopsy has confirmed that she has cancer, and she was only at The Vic to get support from Zack.
