Joel Harley

That was quite a week in EastEnders spoilers, wasn’t it?! And the drama is going to keep on coming as new show boss Ben Wadey gets his teeth stuck in and keeps on bringing the good stuff.

In this week’s episodes, the feud between Zoe and Jean Slater escalated when fresh evidence emerged suggesting that she’d been behind the vandalisation of the barrel store door.

Meanwhile, mysterious Jasmine Fisher lashed out and attacked Cindy, while Lauren fell victim to a scam and Anthony grew closer to Zoe.

The drama continues in spoilers for December 1 – 5, as Zoe accuses Tommy of stalking her, and Howie pops the question to a delighted Kim.

But what happens after that? Read on for our pick of the best upcoming spoilers for EastEnders.

1. Teddy Mitchell’s fate is revealed in EastEnders spoilers

The nu-Mitchells struggle in the wake of recent events, with Teddy behind bars, Harry in the grip of drug addiction, and Nicola pregnant with George’s child. With Teddy facing a long stretch in prison on murder charges, Nicola struggles to hold her family together.

Teddy’s future on the soap will be revealed in upcoming episodes, as his murder case goes to trial in December. Teddy revealed that he’s planning on pleading guilty – meaning that he faces at least fifteen years behind bars for the crime.

Is this the end of Teddy Mitchell?

Meanwhile, Nicola struggles to hold the family together as Harry’s descent into drug addiction continues. With Harry tormented by his guilt over Okie’s death and his dad’s arrest, Nicola barely has time to worry about her own geriatric (sorry Nicola, that’s the medical term) pregnancy.

How will George react when he learns that Nicola is carrying his child? Can Harry manage to overcome – or even survive – his drug battle? And what of poor Barney, caught in the middle, as per usual?

2. The search for Zoe’s tormentor continues in EastEnders spoilers

Zoe Slater made her surprise return earlier this year, amid a cloud of mystery and lies. After months of speculation, the soap finally revealed what Zoe had been up to since leaving Walford in 2005. She’d given birth to twins in 2006, and given her surviving son up for adoption.

Zoe’s launched a search for her son, although her recent behaviour hasn’t done her any favours. After admitting she lied about Dennis Rickman being the father, she then faked a series of defaced pictures, making it look as though she had a stalker.

Since then, multiple suspects have emerged. Could it be Jean Slater, still bitter about Zoe ‘driving’ daughter Stacey out of Walford? Or a smitten Anthony Trueman, targeting Zoe in an attempt to make her more reliant? Or even brother Tommy, who she accuses after finding a shocking piece of evidence in his bag.

Who’s out to get Zoe? And to what end? And how will this affect the search for her son?

3. Max Branning makes EastEnders history

Max Branning is set for his permanent return to EastEnders. Prolific love rat Max returned (again) for Lauren and Peter’s recent wedding, immediately putting himself at the centre of the drama.

After going away for a little while, Max will be back in the Square on a permanent basis later this year. The soap has since revealed that Max will star in a special flashforward episode on New Year’s Day – set on the same date, one year’s later.

In this mysterious flashforward, Max will navigate a precarious situation which has far-reaching consequences for himself and his entire family.

What trouble has Max gotten into this time?

4. Nigel’s dementia decline continues

As Nigel premieres his Christmas film at The Vic, emotions grow to a head, and his dementia symptoms intensify. During this time, Nigel’s mind becomes flooded with memories of the 1990s, where he begins to imagine conversation with old friends and neighbours.

This includes late Walford icons Pat and Barry Evans, who will ‘return’ to the soap for one very special episode this Christmas. With many fearing that this Christmas may be Nigel’s last, could the return of Pat (who previously visited Peggy Mitchell on her deathbed) be a sad omen of things to come?

Safe to say, there won’t be a dry eye in the house.

Jasmine has a dark side

5. Secretive Jasmine attacks Cindy in EastEnders spoilers

Newcomer Jasmine quickly bagged herself a job at The Albert upon her arrival. She’s already caught the eye of Oscar Branning and Cindy Beale seems really taken with her.

But it’s become very clear very quickly that Jasmine isn’t all that she seems, and is working for someone rather dangerous. But who?

Jasmine herself admitted to being from a family of criminals. Fans are now convinced that she’s from one criminal family in particular: the Ford clan. Jackie Ford is the woman who Cindy informed on in prison and was put into witness protection for.

Although she is now dead (hence why Cindy has her whole life back), speculation has grown that Jasmine might be relative out for revenge against Cindy.

Jasmine lashed out and attacked Cindy this week, leaving the Beales convinced that the Fords have returned. But is this really the case?

6. Sam returns to Walford at Christmas

Following months of speculation, EastEnders revealed this week that Sam Mitchell is set to return to EastEnders. Of Sam’s return, Executive Producer Ben Wadey said: “I’m delighted to welcome Kim Medcalf back to EastEnders for a short stint later this year.

“It’s no secret that wherever Sam Mitchell goes, drama inevitably follows, and with ex-accomplice Zoe Slater back in the Square, only time will tell if there is space for forgiveness between the pair, or whether battle lines will be drawn.”

But what brings Sam back home to Walford? And what part does she play in Zoe’s stalker torment?

7. Farewell Freddie and Anna

Freddie Slater and Anna Knight are set to leave the soap over the coming weeks. Of Bobby’s exit, an EastEnders rep revealed to The Sun: “We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson from the BBC told RadioTimes.com: “We can confirm that Molly Rainford will be leaving EastEnders later this year, and we wish her all the best for the future.”

According to next week’s spoilers. it seems as though the pair will leave Walford to go travelling together, with the door left open for a return somewhere down the line. Is this the last we’ll see of Freddie and Anna?
