Things haven’t always been plaining for Will and Kim in Emmerdale. Even when they first got together it was following a scheme to take revenge on Kim’s son, Jamie, who had been poisoning her.
He almost cheated with Bernice Blackstock, but chose Ms Tate after she proved her devotion to him in a rather unconventional way. They got engaged, but their wedding was then rocked by Will’s ex, Harriet, confessing her love for him right before the big day. She then died on their wedding day in a storm that also claimed the life of Liv Flaherty. Will blamed Kim and the newly weds had a less-than joyful start to their marriage.
The writing should have been on the wall, perhaps.

Rose successfully ousts Kim from Home Farm and seduces Will. He keeps quiet and Rose is eventually run out of town.

After weeks of being blackmailed over his sex secret, Will finally discovers Kim is behind his torment and divorce proceedings begin.
