As well as the farm drama in Emmerdale tonight, Cain told his family he is battling cancer and it gave us all the feels…

Cain told the family

After telling Moira, Cain knew he has to tell the rest of the family about his cancer diagnosis. He gathered Chas, Caleb, Sam and Belle at the Dingles’ and revealed the news.

Everyone was stunned as Cain said it hasn’t spread and he is waiting for an operation. Sam was clearly shaken. Cain said no pity and no sympathetic looks. He doesn’t want to talk about it at all. He asked them to tell the rest of the family for him.

The family all waited in the Woolpack and were left stunned when Chas arrived and broke the news. Sam struggled with his emotions and went to the loos crying.

Emotionally, Cain was back at home on his own, talking to Zak, wishing he was here.

He then went to the pub where everyone pretended to be normal, while being anything but.

Isaac and Kyle found out in Emmerdale tonight

Then the boys arrived and Isaac asked: “Has someone died?” We love him!

However Cain told him they needed to have a chat and ushered them into the back room, where he told them about his cancer too.

The boys immediately thought of Granny Faith and how she died. But Cain promised he would be okay. He said they needed to be strong and they will get through it together.

Joe rubbed salt into the wound

Sam then gave a speech saying Zak would have been proud of Cain and the family are all going to be there to support him. Cain went outside for some fresh air alone, where he encountered Joe Tate.

Joe then smugly broke the news to Cain that Moira had sold to Kim, knowing full well Moira hadn’t discussed this with Cain. Joe told him he wasn’t pressing charges and he’d give the family time to move out. Ouch. Somebody push him out of another window, stat.
