Why was Asan sacked from Emmerdale?

He was reportedly caught on camera arguing with Hollyoaks star, Charley Webb’s brother, Jamie Lomas.

However, Asan can reportedly be heard saying to Jamie: “Do you think you are a big man? I am going to [bleep] kill you.”

Then he was reportedly heard whispering that he was going to “knife” Jamie. After the video was released online, Asan’s contract was immediately terminated and the role of Ellis was recast. Aaron Anthony took over the role.

However, Asan quickly apologised for his actions. He said at the time: “My behaviour at the TV Choice Awards was completely unacceptable and very much out of character.

“I sincerely apologise to everybody who has been affected, especially Jamie Lomas, the whole Emmerdale team, our audience, ITV, my family and the organisers of the TV Choice Awards.”

Earlier today (March 19) he shared another snap on Instagram where he was holding his newborn baby on his chest, while his dog lay beside them.

Although he is still acting, as he gave fans a tease of whats coming up this year. Asan penned: “Got some really cool projects out this year. Hope you all enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed filming. Over and out.”
