Classic Emmerdale previews: Billy Hopwood’s back and Kelly vows revenge

Billy Hopwood is back in the village in Classic Emmerdale episodes airing on ITV3 on Wednesday May 14. Daz has mixed feelings about his dad’s return, but no one else is very pleased to see him!

Meanwhile, Val’s feeling bad for Rodney and Jo’s frustrated with Andy.

These episodes first aired on January 25 and 26, 2007.

Billy’s back in Classic Emmerdale

Billy’s back in the village and he’s surprised to discover his sons react in very different ways to his return. Andy demands that his dad leaves them all alone – forever. But Daz finds his loyalties are divided.

When Billy catches Daz on his own, he tries to persuade him to meet him for a chat in secret.

Val’s worried about Rodney

Elsewhere, Val’s feeling sorry for Rodney but despite her efforts, she can’t talk Eric into helping. Rodney spends his day boozing in the Woolpack and snubs Val’s attempts at an apology.

But Val’s not about to give up. She manages to persuade David to give Rodney some compensation, and annoys Eric by letting Rodney stay with them!

Kelly’s out for revenge

Meanwhile, Kelly’s so worried about Billy’s return that she refuses to go outside. Jimmy tries to comfort her and assures her he’ll do whatever it takes to protect her.

Kelly resolves to take revenge on Billy.

Jack tells Billy to stay away

Andy’s not interested in Classic Emmerdale

Later, Andy is shocked when Daz admits he wants to meet his dad. Andy tells him in no uncertain terms to stay away but Daz is determined. He heads off for his secret family reunion. But he’s unaware that Victoria’s following and spying on him and Billy.

But Jo is!

Elsewhere, Jo’s frustrated by Andy taking too long to make a decision. And when Katie asks Jo to give her and Andy some space, Jo’s even less impressed.

She storms off to the pub where she spends the evening flirting with an older man. And she’s shocked as the night goes on and she discovers that her mystery fella is Billy Hopwood!

Jasmine’s feeling guilty

Meanwhile, journalist McNally tries to speak to Daz and Andy about Billy’s return but Jack sends him packing. McNally tries a different approach and asks Jasmine to speak to Daz instead.

Jasmine feels guilty as Daz opens up to her. And she feels even worse when McNally demands to know what Daz said.

Emmerdale usually airs weeknights on ITV at 7.30pm, with an early release on ITVX at 7am.

Classic Emmerdale usually airs every weekday on ITV3 at 6am and 6.30am, plus 1.40pm and 2.10pm.
