Joe and Billy 'will both blackmail Dawn' - and fans insist it serves her right

In Emmerdale, Dawn Fletcher confessed to Billy that she was the one who pushed Joe out of the Home Farm window. But now many believe that decision will come back to haunt her.

Last week, Lydia’s birthday party took a turn when the truth about Joe drugging Noah came to light. And everyone also found out that Dawn had been having an affair with him. With all of his enemies gathered in one place, he was then pushed out a window, mirroring Tom King’s 2006 death.

However, Joe didn’t die. Instead, he was put into an induced coma. And last night’s episode (May 13) suggested he was going to brought out soon. And fans don’t think that will go well for Dawn.

Dawn and Billy allied together

Last night, Billy came up with a plan in order to protect their family. He and Dawn will pretend to be a couple once again to make their cover story look believable.

Dawn was apprehensive about doing that, but Billy made it seem like it was their only way to keep her out of prison. After warning him that he better not use the situation to get her back properly, Dawn agreed.

However, she was still afraid that Joe will tell the truth once he wakes up, because he did see her. But Billy had a plan for that too. He wanted Dawn to make it known she had broken up with Joe before the incident, so that way it would look like he was trying to blame her because he was annoyed.

While it may seem like the only way, some fans think Billy will use the situation to get Dawn back – and he won’t be the only one.

Emmerdale Dawn blackmailed by Billy and Joe?

Commenting on an Instagram post, one viewer wrote: “Sorry but Dawn is playing a very dangerous game. Joe is going to wake up and remember that it was her that pushed him. He will start blackmailing her to stay with him, and Billy will do the same. It serves her right for letting others take the blame.”

If Joe wakes up and hears that Billy and Dawn are back together, he may be pushed to take drastic measures to keep them apart.

Ned Porteous teased that if Joe wakes up, he will want justice against anyone who did that to him.

As for Billy, he now has a huge bit of information that could ruin Dawn’s life – and even she warned him to not take advantage of that. So if Joe finds a way to forgive, or if he forces her to stay with him, Billy may also lash out.

Dawn actress Olivia Bromely recently teased that Dawn should watch her back around Billy.

She said: “They form a bit of an alliance to protect each other. But Billy’s been massively betrayed by this woman, so will he be able to trust her again?”

However, there are some people who believe Emmerdale will throw another twist when Joe wakes up – that it wasn’t Dawn at all. Some viewers believe she is covering for one of her children.

So if this is the case – Dawn will need to tread very carefully with both Billy and Joe.
