Emmerdale confirms Kammy's history as fans make huge prediction about his mum and sister

The full story behind Kammy Hadiq’s homelessness was revealed in Emmerdale tonight and it seems like he’s had a very sad past after he left his mum and sister.

But as the Dingles take him in, thoughts are turning to Kammy’s family, and just when we’re likely to meet them.

Kammy arrested in Emmerdale tonight

After being caught with a petrol can and lighter, Kammy was pinpointed as the Emmerdale Farm arsonist. And when another fire was started, Aaron called the police and had him arrested. Belle dumped Kammy and he was left all alone.

However, the sad truth is Kammy is actually homeless and was planning to torch his car for an insurance claim. He is totally broke, has nowhere to live and is eating beans warmed on a camping stove.

Embarrassed by the whole thing, Kammy chose to let Belle believe he was an arsonist rather than confess the truth. But he did tell Vinny.

So on Thursday night (May 28) when Kammy was arrested, Vinny stood up for him and told Aaron and Belle what’s really going on. They raced to the station to absolve Kammy and insisted on taking him home with them.

Belle was understanding about his situation, but wanted answers about why he had lied to her. She also picked up on the police officer saying Kammy had a rap sheet when he’d claimed to never have been in trouble with the police.

Coming clean

With no option to joke his way out of it, Kammy revealed the truth to Belle. He confessed his dad had died when he was 15 and he had gone off the rails.

He started stealing cars and joyriding them until they’d run out of petrol. But his sister was worried about him and tried to take one of the cars back.

However she had an accident and the police got involved. Kammy took the blame. He was facing serious prison time, but the judge was lenient given the death of his dad and he didn’t go down.

But he was so ashamed of the pain he had caused his mother, he left his family. Kammy felt that was all he could do.

So where are Kammy’s mum and sister in Emmerdale?

We now know Kammy has a mum and sister out there somewhere. And if we know Emmerdale, a story like this will only just be getting started.

With Kammy proving to be a popular character since his arrival a year ago, it makes sense for his family to arrive in the Dales too for a fresh start.

Fans certainly seem to think so on social media: “Will his family move to Dales?” queried one. Another added: “Bring in his family!”

“This is all leading to Kammy’s family eventually arriving,” said a third. A fourth wrote: “I’m excited about this I hope they bring [his sister] into it.”

And a fifth agreed: “Hopefully it’s not just scenes talking about her I’d love them to bring her in.”

Although Emmerdale has given no confirmation that his mother and sibling will join him in the Dales, a mention like this means it’s really only a matter of time before they do, right?
