But the worst crime of all saw him accidentally kill Nate Robinson. After John injected Nate with a substance, with the intention of bringing him back round and saving his life, Nate suffered a reaction and passed away. John threw Nate’s body in the river, but that was recently discovered. Nate’s wife Tracy and dad Cain were the immediate suspects – with John offering them both support. John recently married Aaron Dingle, but Robert Sugden is back on the scene and intent on splitting the pair up. Fans initially suspected that Robert would be the one to discover John’s lies, but now they have a new theory – and it’s wild! Andy was a friend of Michael Rodwell’s son Gavin, but after the pair fell out, Andy decided to pose as Gavin. Andy formed a close bond with Michael and following Michael’s death he set out to get revenge on Pat Phelan, who he correctly guessed was responsible. Things didn’t go to plan though and Andy was abducted by Phelan. After being kept in the basement for months, Phelan shot Andy dead. But fans have suggested that perhaps Andy didn’t really die. Taking to Facebook, one viewer had an idea. They wrote: “Emmerdale have been absolutely genius with casting Oliver Farnworth. On Corrie, he portrayed a character with a false identity and claimed to be Gavin, the son of Michael Rodwell played by Les Dennis, later to be known as Andy Carver. “I think Emmerdale are still keeping the false ID storyline with the character, but instead of being the victim, he is obviously the murderer. A lot will be uncovered about John’s background soon! I don’t think John is who he says he is and it’ll get very dark.” Another fan added: “Maybe Andy didn’t die and he’s actually come to the Dales as John instead.” While a third said: “Emmerdale and Corrie are to merge for a storyline. First time ever. Could this be where it happens?” Read more: Who’s leaving Emmerdale in 2025?
