Emmerdale has a bit of a different schedule this week due to – *drumroll please* – the football. Yes, the football has once again thrown the ITV soap schedule into chaos.

This means that viewers will be kept on their toes this week and might have to switch up their cuppa and soap timings slightly.

But when is Emmerdale airing next? Paddy Kirk is left in a right state in the next episode…

Here’s the Emmerdale schedule this week

Emmerdale will air this week on Monday June 30 at 7.30pm as usual, before airing for one hour on Tuesday July 1 from 7pm-8pm.

On Wednesday July 2, the soap will air at 7.30pm for the usual half an hour.

However, due to Spain taking on Portugal in the UEFA Women’s Euro 2025 on Thursday July 3, Emmerdale won’t air.

Germany v Poland will air the following day on Friday July 4, meaning that once again Emmerdale will have to forfeit its Friday episode.

What’s happening on the soap this week?

This week in the Dales, Paddy spots a sheep caught in a fence on newcomer Celia’s farm. He then goes to rescue it. However, he’s then approached by an aggressive dog and ends up being attacked.

With Bear rushing to tend to him, Paddy’s taken to hospital. But, Bear then gives Paddy a few hurtful words. This prompts Paddy to confront Celia and blame his dad for the awkward situation.

Marlon then tries to stage an intervention to help Paddy open up to him, but Paddy’s not interested in Marlon’s lads’ day.

Elsewhere in the village, Mackenzie Boyd causes a messy situation for Ross and Lewis when he arranges for dealer Ray to buy some weed. When the weed then goes missing, Ross blames Mack but then realises that someone else must’ve taken it… Who could be responsible?

And, Sarah tries to make Cain see that the Dingles being banned from Nate Robinson’s funeral might not actually be a bad idea. It means they can give him a proper Dingle send-off their way instead.
