Emmerdale: Joe stole Will’s kidney after he died, fan theory predicts, in third organ heist twist

How many times has he tried to do this?

In Emmerdale last night (Thursday, March 27), Joe went ahead with his plan to take Caleb’s kidney in a secret operation.

Dr Crowley laid Caleb on the operating table and prepared to perform the kidney transplant – until Caleb flatlined

But, has Joe tried all of this before? A new fan theory predicts so!

Joe’s kidney transplant

Fans might remember that Joe’s original victim was Noah, spiking him so that he could use him as a kidney donor.

However, when this plan suffered a hurdle, Joe moved onto his uncle Caleb instead. And this plan needed to work because Joe was running out of family members…

Last night then saw the whole plan ramp up a gear as Joe ordered one of his associates to stab Caleb.

And, he did just that. But, Goldilocks didn’t think that he did the job just right… Oh no, Joe wasn’t pleased with the severity of the stabbing as Dr Crowley was then tasked to save Caleb’s life.

Before the dodgy doc could take out Caleb’s kidney, he flatlined. But, is this the first time Joe’s actually been involved in such an operation?

Emmerdale theory: Joe stole late Will’s kidney?

A new fan theory suggests that Joe actually took Will Taylor’s kidney after he died. Joe was suspiciously around just when Will suffered a heart attack on Christmas Day and died.

But, did he take Will’s kidney and then realised he wasn’t a match for him?

Taking to Reddit, a viewer shared: “Joe did say he has had one failed transplant already and can’t afford to have another one. And it wasn’t from Noah. That couldn’t have gone as far as transplanting the kidney, or they would have noticed Noah was missing a kidney when he was in the hospital after being drugged.

“Maybe it will come out that Will was the first person he tried to get a kidney from?”

Will’s death did seem very suss… But, did Joe take Will’s kidney before turning to Caleb?
