By Helen Fear | Wed May 21 2025Little Disasters on Paramount+ is a brand new original series tackling some gripping psychological issues, and the six-parter stars a seriously classy cast.
The psychological thriller is led by German actress and former Hollywood darling Diane Kruger, alongside British actresses Jo Joyner and Shelley Conn.
Based on the bestselling novel of the same name by author Sarah Vaughan, the plot is described as an "emotionally terrifying story". It centres around a group of female friends, whose friendship is tested to the limit when something disturbing comes to light.
Here's everything you need to know about the brilliant cast of Little Disasters on Paramount+.

Diane Kruger stars as Jess Carrisford in the cast of Paramount+'s Little Disasters
Little Disasters centres on the friendship between four women - Jess, Liz, Mel and Charlotte - who met 10 years ago as expectant mothers at an antenatal class. The series is described as a complex psychological thriller with a mystery at its heart, exploring female friendship and motherhood.
At the heart of the mystery is Jess, the seemingly perfect stay-at-home mother. However, her world begins to fracture when she brings her baby daughter to the hospital with a head injury she can't explain.
Jess is played by Diane Kruger. German Diane, 48, is best known for being a film actress, most notably heroine Helen in the 2004 film Troy, opposite Brad Pitt, Eric Bana, and Orlando Bloom. Other huge movie roles include Abigail Chase in National Treasure, and the sequel National Treasure: Book of Secrets, and Bridget von Hammersmark in Inglourious Basterds.
