Benidorm is Murder episode 4 is called Eyes Down, so it won’t take a detective to work out it’s about bingo, but you might need some help figuring out the guest stars in the cast.
This week (Thursday, August 20, 2026), Dennis and enthusiastic sidekick Rosa investigate when a million-euro jackpot winner is found murdered.
Five years after her big win, Bingo Babs is living in a faded caravan, nagged by daughters Connie and Ronnie for living so frugally. In the BingoDome, she’s a local legend, except to Italian rival Valentina, who insists Babs stole her winning ticket. Maria calls Dennis for help once more when Bingo Babs is murdered in her caravan. Police find her with a bingo pad in hand, marked with six dabbed numbers…
At the crime scene, they find untouched teas, no real struggle and a number sequence. Rosa becomes convinced that Babs has sent a message from beyond the grave and builds a ‘Murder She Dabbed’ wall back in in The Tavern, linking modern bingo calls to suspects… And there are a few.

Samantha Power plays Sandra in the cast of Benidorm is Murder episode 4
Lancashire-born Samantha Power joins the cast as Sandra in the comedy drama this week. The actress will be very familiar to soap fans.
In 2024, she stirred up all kinds of trouble in Emmerdale, when she took over the role of Tina Dingle, black sheep of the Dingle clan. The character, previously played by Jacqueline Pirie from 1994 to 1996, shocked everyone when she unexpectedly turned up at her father Zak’s funeral. She didn’t stick around for long, carted off by police after trying to sell the family’s cottage from under their noses.
Samantha played another jailbird in Sky comedy drama Brassic between 2023 and 2024. This time, the unpredictable and psychopathic Donna McDonagh, sister of the McDonagh brothers.
And, in 2017 – not shy of playing a complicated character – she had a memorable run as drug addict mother Simone Booth in the school-based drama series Ackley Bridge.
Other guest credits include Whitstable Pearl, Doctors, Shakespeare & Hathaway, The Madame Blanc Mysteries, and the children’s supernatural series Wolfblood Secrets and its sequel Wolf Blood. Early notable roles in her career included Sonia Trent in A Prince Among Men, Jane in Little Britain, Debbie Rossi in The Cup, Talisa and Grady in Coronation Street.
More recently, Samantha portrayed suspect Rosie Raja in the cast of The Good Ship Murder.
Jessica Temple portrays Connie
Nottingham-born Jessica Temple portrays Connie in the cast of Benidorm is Murder episode 4. On TV, Jessica is best known for playing likeable DC Carly Lake in Parminder Nagra detective drama DI Ray.
She’s also portrayed Freya in Malpractice series 2, Carla in Channel 4 drama Falling, and Leon’s Wife in the most recent series of House of the Dragon. She’s also popped up in Atlanta, Sister Boniface Mysteries, Doctors, and A Ghost Story for Christmas.
Jessica is also a regular on stage, and has appeared in National Theatre Live: Peter Pan, and National Theatre Live: The Madness of George III.

More recently, she’s portrayed Trudy Mattison in Strike: Troubled Blood, Maria Cignoni in Midsomer Murders, Isabella Benvenuti in Coronation Street, and Mrs Calvo in Brassic.
Film fans will also know her for multiple movies, including Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Accident Man: Hitman’s Holiday, Leap Year, What a Girl Wants, and Made in Italy.
