EastEnders airs double arrest in ‘shock’ iPlayer scenes ahead of Zoe’s funeral

The Slater family have been grieving the loss of Zoe for weeks now, and things just keep getting worse for them. But one person who has really struggled is Kat.
Not coping with the loss of her daughter, Kat has been pushing everyone away. And tonight, she spiralled even further, which ultimately led to a double arrest.
Kat and Cindy arrested in EastEnders
Ever since Zoe’s death, Kat has been determined to find out who the mystery person was who left her suffering. Viewers are aware that the person in question is Max.
When Honey, Jean and Jasmine had just finished fixing the order of service, Jean accidentally knocked a drink over a customer. Jasmine rushed to her rescue, and the Slaters realised she’s a lot like her mother.
After hearing that Jasmine wants to officially be a Slater, Kat began knocking back drinks at the bar with Cindy and Elaine. But then she had a slight altercation with another customer.
Trying to prove a point, Kat stole his bank card and headed outside. A scuffle ensued between Cindy, Kat and the customer. But when two police officers approached, one was knocked to the ground.
As a result, both Cindy and Kat were arrested. But the timing couldn’t be worse, as Zoe Slater’s funeral will be taking place tomorrow.
One fan penned on social media: “Today’s episode was great. I didn’t expect Kat to get arrested!”
What happens at Zoe Slater’s funeral?
Nobody knows that Kat has been arrested, so by the time Zoe’s funeral arrives, everyone is wondering where she is.
However, EastEnders spoilers confirm that Kat does make it to the funeral – though she is late.
Not wanting to delay things any longer, she demands that the service begins. The EastEnders funeral is quite intimate, and Jasmine and Josh both give heartfelt eulogies for Zoe.
They aren’t the only ones to pay tribute, as Kat also decides to speak about her daughter.
After the ceremony, everyone heads back to The Vic to share their own memories of Zoe.
But will anyone tell Kat that Max was the last person to see her daughter? And will she ever stop searching for answers?
