EastEnders iPlayer release sees Lauren and Mark kick off risky affair as they share secret kiss
They gave in to temptation
EastEnders aired its early iPlayer release today (Monday, July 20), and kicked off Lauren Branning and Mark Fowler Jr‘s affair.
Lauren decided that she couldn’t hold back from Mark any longer and cheated on Peter by sharing a steamy kiss.
With Lauren getting involved in Mark’s chaos yet again today, it seemed that danger is just what Lauren is drawn towards.

Lauren saves the day in EastEnders iPlayer release
Despite not wanting to do anything that could see her thrown behind bars, Lauren jumped into rescue the situation.
Mark informed her that he’d forgotten to put the fake number plates onto the dodgy cars he was selling. Lauren then gave the plates to him, playing the hero of the hour.
Wanting to be thanked for the delivery, it seemed that Lauren got more than she bargained for when the moment became heated.
Mark tried to get Lauren to admit her true feelings for him, despite the pair still mid-argument about Mark’s dangerous schemes.
Mark then said that he called Lauren for help because he ‘wanted her.’ He knew that she ‘wanted him’ back. And, he was right.

Lauren and Mark kiss in affair scenes
With Mark pushing Lauren up against the wall, the pair soon kissed each other before being interrupted by police sirens.
With the sirens being their signal to finish this moment of passion, Mark then headed off to continue finishing his job while Lauren started to regret what she’d just done.
Later on, Lauren headed back home and sat down ahead of a meeting. Peter urged her to tell him if she was struggling, doing his best to help. But, Lauren told him she was just trying to get the energy for a meeting she didn’t want to go to.
As Peter told her that he loved her, Lauren was filled with guilt after cheating on him with Mark.
Meanwhile, Mark sat down with Vicki. He told her that he was waiting for a woman to meet him but she might not show. Vicki could tell that he really liked the woman he was seeing, but Mark told her that things were ‘complicated.’
Not knowing what Mark had got himself caught up in, Vicki told him to make things ‘uncomplicated’ before he breaks the woman’s heart. If he really liked her, he’d find a way to make it work.
We’re not sure that Peter would be giving the same advice…
