Emma Atkins confirms viewers will be 'blown away' by the outcome of Charity and Dr Todd final showdown
Dr Todd's death is coming
Emmerdale star Emma Atkins has teased a major scene ahead involving Charity Dingle and villain Dr Caitlyn Todd.
Viewers will know that Dr Todd will soon be murdered by a mystery person as the villain receives her comeuppance.
But, before she dies, she’s set for one last showdown with Charity.

Currently in the Dales, Charity is on a mission to get justice for everything Dr Todd has done to her. And, to others.
Getting in touch with another one of Todd’s victims – Helen, Charity has been desperate to build up enough evidence against Todd and see her get put behind bars.
However, Helen told Charity that she couldn’t bring herself to speak out about her own sexual assault at the hands of Todd. Unfortunately, she couldn’t help Charity in her quest.
With Mack, Vanessa, Jacob and Charity all gunning for Todd after Charity’s rape and her treatment of Jacob at work, Todd’s time is running out though.
A flashforward saw Todd lying on floor in a pool of blood – murdered.
It’s not clear who kills Todd or when it happens, but someone’s definitely going to bump her off in scenes to come.
Emma Atkins teases major ‘showdown’ between Charity and Todd ahead of murder scenes
Recently speaking to the Mirror, Charity Dingle actress Emma Atkins has teased a big showdown between Charity and Todd before Todd’s inevitable death.
Emma shared: “She definitely gets to have her moment with her. The audience is owed that, because they’ve followed this journey. I don’t want to give too much away, but it’s absolutely brilliant.
“It was written so well, and Caroline Harker [who plays Dr. Todd] played it so fantastically. I think the audience will be blown away with the outcome, and shocked. There’s some kind of retribution and justice in its own way, and you’ll see that moving forward.”
But, could Charity kill Todd during this showdown? And, how would Charity feel about Todd escaping the possibility of prison?
Emma, of course, couldn’t reveal much on this topic but she did interestingly reveal: “I think she would be okay with Todd dying without justice.”
