Mack is onto John...but will he live long enough to expose him?

Mack joined up the dots

In tonight’s visit to Emmerdale (Wednesday, August 20), it looks as if Mack may have discovered a huge clue to take down John Sugden. Things could finally be closing in on him.

Will Mack finally be the one to put an end to John’s string of lies and murders? Or will he end up being his next victim?

The mysterious removal man reappeared

The episode began with Mack, Tracy and Cain in the village shop. In conversation, Mack explained that he was heading off to London later that day for a stag do.

There was a shock in store for the trio, as a familiar face headed in to join them…

Earlier this year, Nate’s things were taken by a removal man, after he allegedly move to Shetland. Since discovering his body, the police had been unable to trace the removal man, Ben.

Much to Tracy’s shock, it was him who showed up in the shop, and when asked, insisted Nate Robinson was the one who paid him. A confused Tracy showed Ben a picture of her late husband, asking if it had definitely been him.

Unsurprisingly, Ben said that no, it hadn’t. When the police arrived to speak with him, Ben was shown a picture of Owen, the man John killed, framing it as a suicide.

He confirmed that Owen was in fact the ‘Nate’ he had met up with.

John plans to move away with Aaron

Meanwhile, John made his way to Keepers Cottage, informing Vic and Robert that he and Aaron were planning on moving away.

A devastated Robert headed off to ask Aaron about this bombshell. Later, Aaron admitted to Robert that moving away and getting a fresh start had been his idea.

The two ex-husbands slept together just last week, causing Robert to suggest that Aaron is running away from what (or who!) he really wants.

It was evident that Robert was heartbroken, insisting that he and Aaron had a future together. “John’s my future,” Aaron told him. “We’re each others’ past.”

Of course, secrets don’t secrets in soapland for very long, as Robert soon reminded him, wondering just how much that’ll change when John learns they slept together…

The Nate case is officially closed

Later, Aaron bumped into John. News was shared between them, but it wasn’t about Robert. Instead, John was relieved to hear that the Nate case was officially closed. Ben had identified Owen as the fake ‘Nate’, leading the police to deem him the killer.

Over in the cafe, Robert overheard the same news, informing Mack “thinking John was involved was too good to be true.”

Mack grows suspicious of John

Later, John bumped into Mack, offering to give him a lift to the train station in exchange for help moving some boxes. Agreeing to the offer, Mack got into the passenger side of the van, while John headed inside to grab a few more things.

Stumbling on a scrapbook, Mack was greeted by a picture of John with a crossbow. Turning the page, he was horrified to then see a photo of John with none other than the removal man, Ben.

A shocked Mackenzie started to piece it all together. Has he put himself in danger?

In a trailer for this week’s episodes, Mack is seen running through the woods.

John confronts him about “joining up the dots”, and the trailer ends with John smashing a rock down…

While some fans think Mack will survive the week, and be held hostage by John, could another murder be on the cards?

With Mack informing half the village, including Charity, that he’s off to London, nobody would immediately be suspicious if he goes missing…

Is this finally the end for John, as has he been figured out at last?

Or could this be the end for Mack instead?

MAFS Australia's Steven and Bec caught in unseen footage LAUGHING about his intimate moment with Rachel

MAFS Australia's Steven has been caught laughing with Bec about his intimacy with Rachel in damning unseen footage.

Steven is accused of giving Bec the "green light" to make her crass comment to the group in this exact moment.

The usually-shy groom is sat between Bec and Alissa Fay on the veranda at the retreat.

Bec congratulates him, making an assumption about what went on between the sheets.

Steven laughs and makes a crude joke back. This is despite him later accusing Bec of simply "assuming" what had happened between himself and Rachel.

The footage is set to really rock Steven and Rachel's relationship, as she realises it is the reason why Bec went on to mention it in her toast.

MAFS Australia fans, meanwhile, will be left stunned by Steven's out-of-character behaviour.

MAFS Australia's Steven laughs with Bec in unseen footage

The shocking clip of Steven and Bec will air during tonight's MAFS Australia spin-off show, After The Dinner Party. Steven and Bec appear on the show, along with Rachel.

Obviously, the main topic of conversation is Bec's vulgar joke that sent the retreat into meltdown. In a toast to the group on the first night, Bec declared that Steven and Rachel had "finger-banged".

But Rachel was left devastated and accused Bec of making fun of their intimate moment. The incident has since been blown into something massive, mainly thanks to Gia and Juliette 'stirring the pot'.

When Bec arrives on the spin-off show tonight, she once again apologises to Rachel. She blames the joke on her "crass, disgraceful self".

Bec is asked if she had spoken to anyone about exactly what Steven and Rachel had done between the sheets before she announced it to the group.

She says she thinks she did, but that she cannot remember who with.

Rachel denies telling Bec anything specific, saying: "I don't believe we had conversations that we detailed." Looking at Bec, Steven mumbles: "If you say anything to me, it just goes over my head."

But then comes the unseen footage, which is played out for all three to see.

Before Bec makes her toast, Steven is sat sandwiched between her and Alissa. Bec says to him: "I'm so glad you stuck a finger in, babes. Like cheers to that!"

Clinking his beer bottle with her wine glass, he replies: "How do you know it's only one finger?!"

Bec tells him: "I'm guessing it was two. I'm so happy for you!"

The pair dissolve into hysterics, as Alissa pleads: "Guys, keep it PG please!"

MAFS Australia's Steven 'mortified' by unseen footage with Bec

After The Dinner Party returns to the studio and Steven looks ashen.

Host Laura Byrne tells him: "Obviously having that joke opens up the doorway for that commentary to be made."

Steven says: "Watching that back, I feel mortified. I'm even shaking just seeing that back. I feel disgraced about myself and ashamed that I would even joke about that."

Rachel is asked how she feels. Looking upset, she replies: "I thought I was supported and thought my partner had my back. Knowing that this situation has come because my partner has said it's a laugh and it's okay...

"If I had been told this, it would have made sense."

Turning to her husband, she tells him: "You essentially gave the green light to it. It all makes sense now."

The couple are asked how their relationship stands from now on.

Rachel curtly says: "I think there are some conversations that Steven and I need to have."

Ouch. We didn't certainly see that coming from Stevo!
