Robert comes to Aaron’s rescue in Emmerdale spoilers
What started out as an idyllic countryside break has turned into Aaron’s holiday from hell. John has him trapped inside his creepy childhood cottage, which he now wants to make their marital home.
John has also been drugging Aaron with laced whiskey to ensure he remains totally under his control. This almost proved fatal when Aaron started drinking the drugged liquor without knowing what it contained.
Gradually Aaron has come to realise the man he fell in love with has a sinister side. He’s desperate to escape John’s clutches and get back to the village, but it seems there’s no way out.
As the week begins, Aaron tries – and fails – to make another break for it. But help is on its way as Robert (who’s joined the dots and worked out John’s a killer) arrives to confront his brother and save his soulmate.
John nearly kills again
Bursting into the cottage, Robert accuses John of committing murder. John remains defiant, insisting his sibling has zero proof for any of these accusations. But as their confrontation turns ugly, Robert’s left lying motionless on the ground.
John fears he’s killed again and is relieved to realise Robert is still breathing. But there’s no time to relax as he sees Aaron making his great escape.
Free at last, Aaron dashes through the surrounding woods looking for the hatch which he knows is connected to Mack’s disappearance. Meanwhile, John is in hot pursuit as he chases after Aaron, desperate to get to him before he finds Mack.

Aaron discovers John’s killer past in Emmerdale spoilers
Unable to locate the underground bunker where Mack is being held prisoner, Aaron runs all the way to the edge of a gorge.
As he tries to figure out his next move, he turns around and is horrified to see John standing there. The medic insists this is all a misunderstanding, but Aaron doesn’t believe a word of it. He can finally see John for the unhinged nutter he really is.
In that chilling moment Aaron can finally see John for the unhinged person he really is. He pleads with him to surrender and take him to Mack.
John looks into Aaron’s eyes and realises he finally must do the right thing. But just as he’s about to pick up the phone and call the police to confess, who should turn up? Robert!
A furious showdown ensues on top of the gorge as Robert vows to end John’s reign of terror. But things are about to take a shocking turn…
