Jai in disbelief at Caleb and who was shot?

Cain Dingle was helding John Sugden at gunpoint in Emmerdale on Tuesday night (September 23) and then a shot was fired. So as the action picks up Wed, Sep 30 who got shot?
Elsewhere, Caleb is under scrutiny from a sneaky Jai and Dylan can’t escape Ray’s clutches. As Ray badgers him to learn to drive, Dylan gives in, but he knows there is an ulterior motive – can he get away?
Also, Charity continues to buckle under the guilt of her own secrets.

1. Who was shot in Emmerdale?
During Tuesday’s episode of Emmerdale, Caleb went back on his word to get John out of the country and instead served him up on a plate to Cain.
Cain spent a large portion of time pointing a gun at John before telling him he wasn’t going to shoot. However, as the episode came to a close, a gunshot was heard.
Did Cain go back on his word and is John dead?
2. Jai shocked at Caleb’s management style in Emmerdale spoilers
Over as the Depot, Jai has been eager to be given more responsibility by boss man Caleb Miligan. But Wed, Sep 30 Jai is shocked by Caleb’s methods.
As Jai goes through Caleb’s office, he’s in disbelief at Caleb’s apparently casual approach to running the Depot.
Will Jai question Caleb about it?
3. No escaping Ray for Dylan
Also at the Depot, Dylan tries to make the most of his new job, but he gets a text message which reminds him there is no escape from Ray.
Dylan previously mentioned to Ray that he couldn’t drive yet, so how will Dylan react when Ray offers him an impromptu driving lesson?
4. Charity struggles with the guilt in Emmerdale spoilers
Charity has had a lot going on recently, but now with the safe return of Mack, Ross was quick to remind her that he wants a paternity test on her unborn baby.
Wed, Sep 30 Charity’s guilt over potentially carrying Ross’s baby is an ever-present torture.
If it is Ross’s baby, the revelation would destroy her marriage as well as granddaughter Sarah’s happiness.
5. Liam ignores his own problems
Last week, Liam had an embarrassing moment when Claudette caught him doing a wee in public.
Liam soon explained that he was having trouble holding it in. While he was encouraged to get help, Liam has instead buried his head in the sand
